Unfortunately, I did not read the one 1star review before I bought this. The image sells this as something you can hover over your artwork while you record your work. I’m not even trying to record my artwork for sharing at this time, but so that I can watch it back and learn from my process and I can’t even do that with this. I have a pixel 7 and if I could have tightened the joints hard enough to stay it would only be for a few minutes before the whole thing is sagging and my shot’s too close and off-center. And I could literally feel the bolts stripping as I tightened it. If you’re getting this for the light ALONE though, it’ll work. The light itself is still pretty flimsy but the number of adjustments to warmth/coolness and brightness are a nice feature. 2 out of 5 do not recommend.

Really wanted this to work, but unfortunately my phone (Samsung note) was too heavy & the arm would end up falling down. The light ring worked great, nice & bright. The phone holder was made of flimsy plastic. The arm & clamp were metal, but could not tighten the arm down enough to keep it from falling when my phone was clipped on.

Finally! I found a quality arm and light to attach to my desk with no screws! I didn’t take off a star for the cell phone not staying still, because I remedied that by just using my longer tripod for over head shots. If you need your phone to be above your desk, then don’t get this, however if you need even lighting over your desk, then this is for you! Easy set up

I think that it’s probably not the light I need for my purposes, so this review is going to be a little wishy-washy. What I needed was a light that I could move when I needed to adjust the lighting while painting miniature figures or adjust the lighting and a recording camera for when I am doing demonstrations tutorials or other types of filming. This light is advertised as being an all-in-one where you can have like your camera phone attached to the light while you’re doing your project. This is not ideal.
First of all if you don’t want the light to be going all over the place you have to use an allen wrench to adjust the tightness of each joint for every adjustment that you need for different angles. As you can imagine if you need easy adjustments this is a nightmare. Now if you thought maybe just have it tight enough that you can adjust it a little bit but mostly stay still don’t bother. The light itself is too heavy for a looser setup to be efficient. You might be able to force it a little bit but all that’s going to do is wear out the joints. Additionally, if you are trying to attach your camera with the attaching grip, that adds so much extra weight to the setup that you actually need a second piece of some sort of rigged together support to keep the weight from forcing the light to fall. Sure, you could try tightening everything up super tight but no matter how hard I tightened it it still would sag if I didn’t have some sort of a support. I rigged up a bunch of different types of supports and the only ones that didn’t enter my workspace, ended up not being supportive enough to keep it from swinging left or right. The swing comes from the fact that while the joints are locked the actual pin that goes into the socket still lets the light swing that does not lock.
So long story short, this light does not work for a hand in hand recording and will not be compatible if you need to be able to do easy adjustments. If you don’t mind having it locked into a single position the entire time you’re using it it’s probably okay as long as you’re not attaching any more weight to it like a phone.
I do have at least one pro that I’d like to share and that is I really like the switch on the light that allows you to adjust the temperature of the light and the brightness and whether it’s on or off with just a quick easy intuitive switch system. My other light, I have to use an inconvenient remote control or a tap through a million option button on it. Both of which are not the most convenient thing when your hands are full of miniature and paint and paint brushes.

I bought this purely for the ring light and arm, so luckily it works great for my needs. The light is extremely bright and has a great range of warmth/coolness. Here are a few key things to note:
– DO NOT buy this if you want to use your phone with it. The arm isn’t strong enough to support more than just the ring light.
– The table mount part does not open very large (roughly 2 inches), so be aware if the table you want to mount it to is thicker than that.
– The ring light is powered by a USB (Type A) so be sure you have a power source close enough to plug it into where you want to use it.
Overall, it works great if you only want to use the arm mount and ring light with a great range of light. But it will not hold your phone up so don’t purchase it in hopes of using it for that purpose.

I love to film unpacking and normally I used my iPhone stand holder before
But girl when you filming on top of the product it’s different story
Why didn’t Olsi order this before😃
Also I have to say that the quality of lighting is very good especially considering the price ( I know my influence friend got exactly same 5 times the price lol)
So I’m glad with my purchase)) you can tell lol

Gets the job done but doesn’t hold the weight of some phones very well.
