I usually install a section of downspout a few inches below a window unit, but I was looking to use those downspouts for another project. Thought I’d try this. Works well, unobtrusive, and I can put the hose pretty much wherever I need it to go.

I hooked this hose up to my dehumidifier using the enclosed clamps. This hose allows me to place the dehumidifier further away from my drain.

The tubing was wound so tight that it was compressed flat. It was also twisted in 2 places ( see photos).
As it stands, this is completely unusable. I have been trying to straighten this out enough to let water pass through for 20 minutes. There was no reason for this to be rolled so tightly. Sure doesn’t match the image of what I was supposed to get!
