I hate/not good at housework and I’m also a cheapskate – enter my purchase of a small shopVac. ..to be used in my apartment (!). I also work alot w/ plants and cook a lot and have crumbs on kitchen floor and detritus when preparing large meals and also when repotting my plantings. Most vacs balk at such things and also get caught around doorways – totatally and incredibly infuriating me. Perhaps a $1000. vac is the answer but not my priority to spend my hard earned $ on vacuum cleaners. SO, we purchased a mini Shop Vac. It’s loud but does not complain about swivelling around doors, etc. *The floor attachment had so much suction I couldn’t get it to move easily on my vinyl and hardwood floors. I purchased these attachments and they work great. I can clean whatever I need to without scratching the floors, the ‘wand’ glides over my floors. This set was cost effective too. It has an adjuster to add to the large diameter of the hose to then fit the smaller diameter of the attachment. Slightly annoying – but take my word for it – very, very slightly annoying. I’m really pleased with this purchase – it makes sense to me all around and is efficient and cost affective for my brand of housecleaning!

This set of vacuum attachments worked with the special hose fitting reduction attachment added on our Atrix BP1 Ergo Vacuum cleaner. Our original attachments were all lost and this set does the job for our two main needs: 1) vacuuming large areas of hardwood flooring and 2) vacuuming upholstery with the 2 smaller attachments included in this set. Content with the value of this purchase. I do wish to note that if the vacuum hose size adjustment piece appears to show multiple options in the stock photo when you view this set (this is what I originally thought I saw prior to my purchase) this is one conical pyramid shaped piece and will only adjust your vacuum hose to one particular size change if that is a consideration for your particular needs.

Would have given a 10 star if possible. Disclosure: I have a very bad back and deformed spine, so cleaning floors for me is painful. These attachments are high quality, clean the floors, walls and baseboards EXTREMELY well, and with very little effort. I attached them to my shop vac. The adapter is made of high quality, flexible rubber, and will adjust to ANY SIZE tube. The floor attachment has thick brushes to such up even the dirt in my tile grout. The small attachment is slighly curved and worked great cleaning baseboards and spiderwebs out of corners. I HIGHLY re commend this kit!!

We are using this with a Rigid shop vac. We needed to use the reducer adapter with attachments. While the reducer fits fairly tightly we noticed a reduction in suction (used it with a new bag in the vac). Still good enough for the job since the cleaning job was mostly scattered dust and debris from drywall work in a small area. Not sure how it would perform with a larger and denser pile.
