This is a really nice little mixer. Hadn’t seen one that was convertible before as this can be a stand or a hand mixer. It’s very lightweight and a great choice for someone who prepares small amounts of food. I measured carefully, but the mixer will not fit in the space I needed to store it. It is taller than stated in the description. However, it seems powerful enough for most mixing jobs. The bowl is 3 quarts but that measure is filled to the rim, and you can’t mix if its that full.

Mixes great, and the splash guard is very effective. It’s a perfect size for pancakes, cookies etc. which is all I will probably use it for. It’s good looking and easy to clean except for the difficult to release bowl. AND the retractable chord would be awesome, but it often needs to be pushed in as it doesn’t zip it up well. The locking button for lifting the head is hard to push and probably unnecessary. Also, my girlfriend could not release the bowl to move it without help. Very sticky. Perhaps it will loosen up with use. The suction cups are annoying. I just want to be able to slide it without unsticking the whole bottom each time. Maybe it’s just me. I’ve only used it twice, so I can’t speak to durability.

How do I remove the lid?

I have been with out a mixer for 5 months. The price was great.
