It was easy to install but broke less than a year later, and during the last several months we’ve had issues getting the clip to release the pole from the vacuum. It was always stuck and required some force to get it to release.

My stick vac had a release button wear out and break from all the usage (a few pets). The choices were to replace the tube or get a replacement button for 1/3 the cost.
I was surprised how simple it was to install. Just about a minute at most. Quick test showed it was working without issues. In fact; it showed a previous problem of the button not releasing when the tube was installed to the vacuum. It was an infrequent problem that was going on for a few months and thinking about it; it’s a warning the button is about to wear out and pop out.
