I change my filters more than the recommended twice a year, and so far I have been happy with these filter replacements. There is no odor. The product comes packaged well, and I like that I get 2 for the price. After switching out the orginal filter, I do not notice any difference between those and these ones. Actually, my orginal filter gave off a stinky wet dog smell… and it was so concerning that I had to return the first air purifier I got. After buying the second one I changed the filter it came with to these ones, and I havent noticed any smell! Also, we are a pet and children free house so I am not sure why it smelt like that. Since using these filters I have not noticed any of that smell, its just neutral.

The numerous health benefits can make Purifiers almost an obsession. Add filters of this calibre and you’re close to addiction. Identical size, easy to fit, and the cleaning is fast and *really efficient. OEM? Never again. Two thumbs way up! 👍👍

Bought my mini Levoit second hand, so I haven’t used the official filters in this unit yet. However, having a second model for larger areas in my apartment, which does have the brand name filter inside, I am not noticing any difference in performance!
This no name version fits perfectly and I intend to keep repurchasing since they are a far cheaper alternatively. I am hoping they hold up as well, to get between 4-6 months of use per each.
Sidenote: some people don’t think these fit because the change filter light stays red on their model. I was having this same issue, too. While running, hold the power button for around 5 seconds, the check filter light should then start flashing right before it turns off. If this does not work, turn it off and dust the top, as well as gently vacuum the top inside portion (part that rests directly on top of the filter) before turning it back on, and holding the power button again.
