I just replaced the original filter that came with my Shark air purifier, and it fits snugly and installed easily. The Shark constantly measures air quality for different sized particles, and it seems to work about the same as the filter it replaced. It doesn’t seem quite as sturdy as the Shark OEM filter, but it does seem to be doing its job, at least initially. The fact that it’s about half the price of an OEM replacement filter is definitely a plus…

Seems to work as intended, and I can attest that it’s better than other generics because the thickness matches the authentic filters. I’ve purchased two other brands in the past that were noticeably thinner than the authentic ones (compared side by side). Either way it’s an excellent value and hopefully functions as a true HEPA.

I got this filter to replace the OEM filter that came with my Shark Air Filter (Mode HE402AMZ) and while it does fit OK, I had trouble getting my Shark filter to reset. I followed the normal instructions on resetting it but after a while it would just leap right back up flashing the warning that it needed a filter replacement.

Sometime after that, it seemed to work OK.

Unfortunately when I received this filter the bottom corner was bent – while this is likely a courier issue, that could have been the reason for it not taking right away. It’s been working ever since though, so that’s good.
