This Mini Portable Charger for iPhone is a lifesaver! Its compact design fits seamlessly into my pocket, and the MFi certification ensures it works seamlessly with my iPhone. The 20W PD fast charging is impressive, quickly replenishing my battery. The LCD display provides real-time battery status, avoiding any surprises. At 5200mAh, it strikes a perfect balance between portability and capacity. The compatibility with iPhones makes it a must-have for Apple users. What’s more, the price is a steal for the quality and features packed into this little powerhouse. It has become an indispensable companion for my on-the-go charging needs!

I ordered these chargers since I’m the worst when it comes to the phone. I often leave the house unaware the phone needs to be charged and then stress over it because (as a pessimist) I’m sure THIS time I’ll really need it and it won’t be charged.
Anyway, I saw these and figured they would be a good solution. I always read the instructions that come with a product and since I’m not techy savvy, I knew I’d need some basic guidance!
Included in the package are two power banks [PB], two (short) charging cables and an instruction manual in six languages. Good, it’s short and to the point so it won’t be over MY head. On Page 1, it reads as follows: “Power switch button – Tap the switch button to activate the discharge function, during the discharge process, continuously tap this switch twice, you can end the current discharge state, and then tap this switch, you can discharge the work again.” I had no idea what this meant and after I successfully charged the power banks & my phone from the power bank, I still don’t know what it means! I still haven’t found the power switch button either! Unless they are referring to the digital display . . . ?
Out of the box, one of the PBs was charged to 53%, the other to 68%. I plugged my phone into the one that was 68% charged and it took ~ ½ hour to go from 68% to 89% charged and the PB went from 68% to 49%. Pretty good, I thought. But the manual says to charge them to 100% before use so I went back to following the instructions. I plug one PB into the charging block but the digital readout isn’t responding. Hmm. Let me try the other one. Same thing. Back to the instructions but it tells me nothing. So, after a little experimenting with other cables I realize my charging block is the problem. OK, upstairs I go to charge the PBs and it’s when I plug them into the ANKER device, I realize the digital display flashes while it’s charging and once it reaches full charge, it displays 100%. OK, got it. Also, no mention of this but the digital display doesn’t stay illuminated all the time. If you want to reinitiate the display, there is a tiny button on the right side of the PB you press to turn the digital display ON. Yay – I did it! In retrospect, is this what they are referring to above re: the Power Switch Button?
Overall, this was a pretty easy setup. The fact that I could figure this out even without what I will call complete instructions speaks to the ease of setup. The PBs work really well and it’s great that they come two per package. If you plan to carry them in a purse or backpack, they do add a bit of weight but it’s not too bad.
I would definitely recommend these but they lose a star because the instructions don’t explain everything. I can’t speak to battery life or longevity since I’ve only had them a few days.

These charged up in about an hour or so and held a charge for like two days before I tried them out. I wanted to see if they held a full charge after a couple of days, and they did. The front of them has an LED screen that shows the amount of juice that’s left in the charger. Reads 100% fully charged and goes down in increments as it’s used. But you can always see what’s left so it makes it easy to remember to just plug it back in and recharge. It’s perfect for a purse or a briefcase when you’re stuck without your cords or even a place to plug in. It’s saved the day twice for me already.
Here’s my only qualm, it overheats (or contributes to the overheating) of the IPhone 14 Pro. And then the phone shuts down until it cools off enough. I only took one star away from that because if you have an IPhone 14 then you know that they have a tendency to overheat and it’s been written about so many times in articles, but mine had never done that before…. Well, until I plugged it into the charger. It wasn’t immediate, but like 15 minutes in and I got the message that it needed to shut down. So for that reasonmim only taking off one star because my husbands IPhone 12 Pro Max doesn’t overheat using it, nor does my sons IPhone 13 Pro. It just happened with the 14 Pro. And, according to the publications that covered this glitch in that model, it happened to people not using chargers, but just using the phone! So, that’s why I say “contributed” to. I’ll be honest, I’ll still throw it in my bag and use it in a pinch if I’m stuck without a way to charge my ohine and let it charge as much as it can until it shuts off from the heat, at least I’ve got a ohine to use in an emergency.
