I purchased this adapter so I could use my headphones for zoom meetings. I have a Surface Laptop 5, but an older Surface Dock 1. The Surface Dock 1 does not pass audio back to the Surface Laptop through the 3.5mm jack on the dock. I was hoping to use a USB port and plug my headphones into the adapter into a USB port. I was able to hear audio, but the mic did not work. I returned these and purchased a 3.5mm to USB A adapter from another company and that works fine.

Does the job that it was advertised to do. Easy to use.

My PC, like most has the sound card built into the motherboard. That’s great until it stops working. Rather than go to a lot of trouble I bought these and plugged one into an open USB port and my speaker input into the tail end of the USB adapter. I restarted the computer and it automatically selected the USB sound port and my sound problem was solved. Cheapest and easiest fix ever for a sound card problem!
Pluses:
Inexpensive
It works
Sound quality seems decent
Very compact.
Minuses:
None that I can see

Impressed the manufacture reached out to explain the device, before I even received it. Simple simple, plug n play. This got rid of the immediate problem with my new pc and helped me find another way to get audio out of my laptop as well. Killer price and service, wow not found much today.

I got a raspberry pi 400 for the family and needed to be able to hook up sound since our HDMI monitor does not have built in sound. This has worked great for that purpose. I also bought one to use with my phone for digital radio applications. I am also happy with how it works here too!

Ps5 don’t come with the option to hookup bluetooth speakers to it so if you need to wire one in directly to the ps5 this works perfectly!

I got this jack as a quick, inexpensive fix for a problem with my laptop’s refusal to work consistently with my headphones. (Before purchasing, I verified that the problem was in the computer, not the headphones.) This fixed the problem, and now the headphones work perfectly.
