These coffee filters are perfect for my electric percolator. They’re natural, so there’s no after taste from the paper.

These are nice filters that are unbleached paper. Normally, we order the Melitta paper filters for percolators. These unbleached filters are a little bigger in diameter. They slightly curve up the edges of the percolator basket.

They are almost twice as thick as the Melitta filters. This does impede how quickly the water drains through the grounds. It may not be a big deal for the pour-through use, but in an electric percolator it can cause the grounds to slightly overflow the basket until the filter gets super saturated.

The coffee tastes great, it works as it should, and it’s a pretty good alternative when I can’t find Melitta filters in stock. I didn’t notice any difference in taste between bleached vs unbleached, so for me it boils down (pun intended) to price and availability.

I am one who loves coffee. I drink a lot of it. I have a variety of coffee makers that I use, depending on my mood. Among them is a percolator. I grew up with coffee made in a percolator and like to brew some coffee that way with a bit of nostalgia.

It is hard to find filters for a percolator in the grocery store. There are only so many people these days who own a percolator. One has to find them on the internet. These disposable filters are made of unbleached food grade, which some believe is safer and improves the flavor of the coffee.

I ordered 200 for $8.09, about $0.04 per filter. Two hundred filters will likely last me a year and a half.
