I have not used it. I opened it already but having a hard time in using it.
I opt to return it because of so complicated in operating it. I having a carpal tunnel operation and having a hard time in moving my finger. I would like to return this due the reasons above.

In five years, I’ve had two different generations of Intel-based MacBook Pro for work. When it came time to buy a new personal laptop, I knew I wanted a MacBook, but preferred something lighter than a MacBook Pro. I also wanted better battery life, but really didn’t want to skimp on raw compute power. It turns out the MacBook Air M1 is super light, way faster, more memory efficient, cooler running and has a battery that can last all day without a charge. True, processor intensive stuff will deplete the battery faster, but for web surfing and office productivity stuff, yes, it’ll last all day.
Yes, I use it for the usual stuff… surf the web, check email, social media, YouTube, Netflix, create and edit office documents, etc. But I really bought it to run FM3 Edit for my Fractal Audio FM3 and to record guitar, bass drum, keyboard and vocal tracks using Reaper Digital Audio Workstation. The MacBook Air M1 does all of these things extremely well and without breaking a sweat. Would I buy it again? In an instant. If you are a digital audio content creator and undecided, get off the fence and get the MacBook Air M1.

I have always been a Windows guy, but recently I’ve been less than ecstatic with performance and longevity of my Windows machines. It has been several years since I had a Windows laptop that worked as well and lasted as long as it should.
When the brand new Windows 11 beast I ordered started randomly locking up and requiring restarts every 5 to 10 minutes during initial setup, I finally decided to try an Apple. I have an iPad that was required for a job and really liked it so I broke down and bought a MacBook.
This little machine is fast. Instant on, no stutters or lag with memory intensive apps. It just does what I want it to do.
I’m still adjusting to the Apple quirks – I can never remember to hold down the Command key when clicking links – but I’m learning.
Add in the convenience of being able to use my iPad as a second screen and I’m really satisfied with this little machine.
Still not sold on replacing my Pixel, but I’m an Apple guy for everything else, I think.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 10-year-old daughter who was being forced to use a Chrombook at school. Utter piece of junk. We’re an Apple family and have been for about 15 years. Why? Because everything just works. Because the MacBook was for school, my daughter had an early Christmas. She was so delighted that she almost broke out in dance. At 10, she seems to know as much about computers as I do–hmmm, maybe more. But the MacBook is so intuitive she had it up and running, on her own in about 10-15 minutes. So easy. So smooth. So intuitive. Thank you, Apple.

This is an incredible laptop. Light weight. Quiet. Super powerful – makes editing video a breeze. The M1 chip is impressive.

This laptop is just as powerful as the 13in Pro. Apple is always the way to go. I bought this for freelance coding on the side and it handles everything that I throw at it.
