The laptop came in good packaging, it came with Microsoft 365. I have been using it for 2 days without any issue. It’s a great laptop, perfect for students. Taking off the S mode was super easy. Kudos to the seller.

Unfortunately I had to return this laptop at it didn’t have enough power to run my computations on it. I’d go with something more powerful in terms of the cpu and Ram but for what you pay this is definitely worth ir.

I really like laptop. I purchased it in 2021. COVID was around and I wanted to work at home.

One of the portals does not work. However, I did not discover that until I paid a computer technician to set up the laptop with all the items required, so I did not want to return the item to Amazon. Then, I discovered there is no cd/dvd drawer, so I bought a portable cd/dvd writer burner (extra cost:$28) –but it is difficult to set up and I am not a technical person. Additionally. I was very disappointed that Microsoft Word was not included. There are ways to download free Microsoft Office–but that is too much for me, I will have to call in a geek again. The Media program is also not included–in short, programs included on a laptop I purchased last year (Dell) included the programs I expected to find on this HP but did not! The picture is good, the computer is light and attractive, but all in all, I think this was not a smart purchase. if I knew enough about computers, I probably could have found better–but I am a senior citizen and of the belief that quality in almost everything, “Ain’t what it used to be.”

Very nice for the 158 I paid for a used one. Only problem is when it goes to sleep sometimes the monitor won’t wake up without restarting. If updates can’t resolve this issue I may be reluctantly forced to return.

Own this and just after a month and its already on the way to HP for REPAIR. oh goody. That blue screen is very common with HP. Avoid them. My other laptop which I purchased this past december, decided it had to be in this game as well, but decided to wait 9 months first. But this model?? decided to cause problems the first week it came home!! Spoke with some at HP 3 times, first time they offered to send a recovery reader. It did not help. I called a second time, this time they offered to try to repair it, and offered me a warranty where they would cover anything for 3 years for a charge of $58, I purchased this even though I also purchased Asurion warranty, (because apparently Asurioun lies and doesn’t cover the first year. They claim the manufacturers is responsible, so if you think you are getting the full warranty with Asurion, the whole time, Ha Ha, jokes on you!)
Anyho, sent off the laptop last week, and guess what, they still want to charge $400.00 for “customer induced damage”
Well if you didn’t have trouble yet, the blue screen error is quite common with HP, because a week before that, I sent my 17 inch rose gold laptop in that I purchased Dec 2021, for the same issue, and guess what, HP gave the same excuse that it was “customer induced damage” and want to charge me another $400 to repair that one as well!! ( Worthless Asurion warranty purchased for that one too)
Update 10/12. The vendor named”a Vendor (SN recorded)” knowingly sold a tampered laptop sold as new.
They purchase cheap laptop, upgrade and add storage & memory. Those “upgraded” laptops, now have a voided warranty with HP!! By the time the laptop crashes, the 30 days are up. This vendor is deceptive and does not disclose the warranty in no longer valid with Manufucter. Do not give this vendor your business. When I called the 2nd time about it crashing and no longer functioning, the indian CS said because the sellers change the hardwire, the warranty is voided. First these AMAZON SELLERS are to blame!! Second AMAZON should not leave HP number to call for support for items HP will not provide warranties for. FALSE advertising and i hope there will be a class action lawsuit for this!!

This item was refurbished and has been operating like it is brand new. No cosmetic damage as well.

My elderly mother needed a new laptop and when this was purchased in late 2021, there were not many options available (and even fewer of a reasonable price). We selected this one for the size, OS, and mom loved the red case. She mostly uses it for email, Facebook, and to watch some videos on. No complaints.

The laptop is good, exactly what i expected. Not the best but good for the price and gets the job done
