So far, it’s great. Arrived earlier than promised without a blemish on the box. Perfect!

So, I purchased this machine back in August. Not even a month later, it would not power back on. I get on chat with HP Support and they have me do some power button trick that got the computer to come on. To be honest, I was just happy it was on and didn’t gripe. Now I think I need to mention, since having the laptop, I’ve probably actually only used it a total of 12 times. It was really just for when I’m in bed, don’t want to get up and go in the office, and want to do a quick search or two, so I kept it on the nightstand and hardly used it, because, well, I live in my office. Anyway, fast forward to October and the machine will not power on again, but “this time” chat support can not get their power button tricks to work, so I have to send it in. The “fix” was and seemed quick. I’ll be honest, probably just a week’s time. Some may be like, “Damn” that’s good. Not me, sometimes if you fix things too quick, you dont really fix them. So, I get the laptop back, turn it on, surf a lil bit, let the battery run down, charge it back up, power it back on, I’m like, welp! i guess they “did” fix it. So from October to now, I’ve probably touched the thing a total of 6 times. Just Honestly have not really used it, but…I told myself this year, I wanted to try sketching on it, so I charge it up this morning, thinking when I get back to it, I would put Photoshop or Krita on it. NOPE! Got the Black Screen Of Death “after a full charge”??? Just….really and truly want “ALL” of my money back. I wanted with all my heart to love this device. I loved it’s size, I loved it’s features.. but this is just wrong!! I feel like I’ve been sold a Lemon. Spent my money, got something I cant even use, meanwhile my money is in someone’s pockets or bank account, someone is happy, while I’m bitter. Just not right, don’t care what anyone thinks, it’s just not right. Pandemic or not, you spend your money, what you buy should work when it makes it to you.

The laptop design is very minimalistic and sleek. The touchscreen feature works nicely. It can run a large amount of tabs but the fan might get a tad bit loud. It works fast enough for me to complete college assignments in a snap compared to my previous Samsung Chromebook. The camera is average but I don’t mind. The only downside is the battery life which can run out quickly if you’re doing too much.

I am really glad i bought this laptop, i saw this and was super proud to get it, it actually came in very handy, and the touch screen on it is amazing, it works beyond perfect.

Very lightweight, and convenient to carry around. The touch works perfectly. The color is gold; I just put a skin on it since I was not fond of it. Within a week of buying it, I received a message saying the warranty had expired. When I contacted HP and gave my proof of purchase, they fixed it, and I got my one-year warranty. I am happy with the laptop so far.

I bought this laptop because it had many attributes that I was looking for in a computer… touchscreen, backlit keyboard, compact size, etc. It got to me in good condition, and it’s beautiful and seemed powerful. I ended up returning it because my last laptop was super lightweight, and although this computer isn’t heavy by any means, I just wanted a laptop closer to the weight of my previous model. Also it gets a little hot on the bottom shortly after being turned on, which is a pain point for me.
I do have an issue with the seller taking out about $100 when I returned it (as a restocking fee). I know that’s their policy, but that’s like 20% of the entire purchase. It’s honestly ridiculous. I even set the settings back to brand new before sending it back to them, and put MORE padding in the package than it had arrived with, just to make sure it got back to them in perfect condition. So just reallllllly be sure before you buy this and especially before you open the box. $100 down the drain when I literally sent it back within the 30 days and in perfect condition. Just be really sure. That’s all. And yes I contacted the seller directly about this, but they failed to see/care about my point of view.
Rating is strictly for the laptop. I didn’t really use it, but it’s a beautiful and powerful machine. Backlit keyboard has like 3 levels.

I initially ordered this computer to connect with one of my healthcare providers. I’m diabetic and recently started using the Libreview blood glucose sensor/monitor. I won’t go into details about that other than to say it is way fantastic!
My other laptop was 5 years old and things needed to connect directly were outdated, so after many hours of struggling to connect, (2 of which were on the phone with Libreview support! fantastic tech support there!) I decided to just get another computer. Hard decision, because I really didn’t like Windows 10! But really wanted/needed to connect the Libreview with my healthcare provider.
So… I headed to Amazon and spent about a week looking at different laptops… found and decided on one with the bare minimum requirements, then decided to spend a little more (actually twice as much!) and get a laptop with things I’ve wanted for years! And I don’t regret it at all!!!
This is such a sweet little laptop… I’m even getting used to Windows 10! The touchscreen is very sensitive… I use it mostly in tablet mode… the regular keyboard is fine, mousepad works well, fingerprint reader is in a handy place… no complaints about it in regular laptop mode.
I’m just used to android tablets, now, so am loving that this laptop has a 360* hinge, so it becomes my 14″ tablet! The hinge works easily, but is stiff enough there is no give to it… you have to purposely move it. The touchscreen is sensitive and responsive. I’m even getting used to Windows 10, again. With the Intel core i5 1035G1 processor, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, I find no lag time, or hesitation.
I can’t think of anything about this laptop/tablet I don’t like! As I remember things about features, I’ll add them. For now, I’m really quite pleased and highly recommend it! 1/15/21.
2/3/21 update: Have spent much time with this little (in physical size only!) computer over the three weeks I’ve had it and can find nothing negative to say about it! Am only updating this review because I finally settled on an onscreen keyboard I like and enjoy using it! Lol! I feel this is one of the best things I’ve done for myself in a very long time! I hope others who have purchased this computer are as pleased as I am!!!

La pantalla legó dañada, se ve que le pusieron mucho peso a la caja o se golpeó

The new laptop I bought is pluged in but not charging at all. The seller said I need to reach out to HP since I purchased the product new, I am eligible for manufaturer’s warranty. HP said the battery had gone bad and will be needed to replace it fix the issue. Therefore I have to wait at least a week to fix it.
