came without damage and fast!
i had one of these envy x360 2-in-1 laptops in a different layout for a few years, it has aged and i was looking for a replacement, after browsing i decided on the same laptop again.
this laptop is AMAZING – i highly highly recommend it and cannot stress this enough. it can handle a WORKLOAD, about 60 tabs in the past with no issue, if you are looking for a solid option that can hold up to that much multitasking this is the one!
i love love love this device! great layout, backlit keys, perfect size, sturdy build, fast mouse, screen quality, you name it. battery life seems good but never has been the longest lasting thing on the market.
this laptop DOES NOT: play heavy games, light ones (roblox esc) and browser ones are fine. have a fingerprint scanner, though i see it has a face unlock option in settings. break? clearly do not aggressively bend it into tablet mode, it is an electronic, not invincible, i never faced a single problem.

This laptop is highly sensitive and came with a cracked screen. I love this type of laptop so this is my 2nd time buying this product however I do recommend getting warranty because I’m in the hassle of getting my money back for a refund!!

Me encantó!

bought this laptop for uni and I do some stuff w/ adobe so I was looking for a laptop w/ a little bit more punch than others. I’d say this one delivers.
the laptop is well built, the metal has a nice premium feel to it. when you flip the screen around you won’t ever really feel like it’ll break on you
the screen is okay, I just wish the max brightness was higher. only because it’s pretty dim when you’re outside but that’s the only time I’d really complain about it.
the speakers are pretty good, nothing crazy but they don’t sound bad at all.
the laptop runs very well, never really lags on me. I’ve done some stuff on illustrator on it, works pretty well. it can play terraria too lol and it runs fine.
the camera and mic are decent, the laptop has a button to enable/disable the camera which is appreciated.
the battery life is good too and it doesn’t take long to charge
overall this laptop is pretty reliable if you’re a college student like me, it does what I need it to and it does it well. pretty good investment 👍

As a deaf person I needed black keys to see letters on them and Love the touch screen,
and the lite on them to see at night.
No idea about the two something it has. or how it works.
Sense using g mail and chrome it seems to change on me and was told maybe its because of microsoft edge that came with it causing the problem and loosing things and can not get it back. Lost forever it seems.

I paid about $550 for this laptop, which honestly feels like a steal. This is a true 2-in-1 laptop. Yes it is probably far too heavy to use a true tablet, but as a student, it’s perfect for placing facedown in tablet mode and taking notes on the screen. As a normal laptop, it functions extremely well. 8GB of RAM isn’t the worst, but it is upgradeable. For my usage, I haven’t found the need to upgrade yet, I have a PC workstation for heavier usage. This is perfect for school, it will not struggle or overheat if you have Chrome going in addition to many other Office programs like PowerPoint or Word. It has only been very quick in my experience. It may not be the best choice for heavy photo/video editing, but there are far more expensive and spec’d out machines for that. The touchscreen feels very accurate and responsive, even with the stylus. I’ve found that the responsiveness seems to be more program dependent, and that overall it’s very responsive and fairly accurate. These were essentially all the pros, I can list some cons down below.
Downsides:
This unit does NOT come with a fingerprint scanner even though the description and photos explicitly show one. It’s not a dealbreaker, and there is at least a quick-working Face-ID to make up for it.
The screen is not bright at all. I basically have it at 100% brightness all the time, and it is then bright enough to use in brightly lit rooms (I haven’t tried using outdoors, but I’m sure it would be okay in the sun at 100% brightness)
This is the most frustrating part for me. I have found no way to wake up the computer from sleep when it is in tablet mode, aside from having to flip the computer back around to laptop mode, which is not ideal, because you do not want to be constantly fiddling with the hinges, flipping it back and forth. I have tried all of the settings to enable the touchscreen to wake up the device, but nothing works. If it goes to sleep in tablet mode, you cannot wake it up by pressing any buttons or by pressing the touch screen, you have to flip it back around to laptop mode. People have said that a workaround is having a BT device like a mouse or keyboard plugged in, and clicking the device will work, but I have no reason to buy these devices, I don’t need to use this laptop with any BT accessories.
Battery life: It seems OKAY for me, and yes I am using it at 100% brightness most of the time, but that is also not that bright anyway. I haven’t truly tested the battery out from 100% to 0%, but I can tell that it is not exceptional by the rate it drains, but I also do not think it’s bad enough to be a dealbreaker at all. It does also charge very quickly with the supplied charger (USB-C), which is nice.
It does not come with a stylus, but the ~$30 ones on Amazon seem to work very well, the HP store styluses all appear to have terrible reviews and are overpriced. I didn’t mind having to spend another $30 when the laptop was so cheap.
Camera: The Camera is extremely mediocre and is only 720p, but it gets the job done. What’s nice is that there are designated keys for covering the camera and muting the mic, perfect for this new video conferencing era that we live in.
Overall: It does everything good enough, and it really shines as a 2-in-1 in my opinion. More importantly, for the price, it really feels like a steal. Ipad Pros and Surfaces will cost over $1000 and won’t even come with a keyboard at base prices, this has everything you need with more than capable specs under $600. Highly recommended for students and home office workers.
EDIT: Knocking it down to 3 stars just because of the poor battery life and very dim screen. Still a decent laptop for the price.

I got this for my son to take to his first year of college. He started using it this summer before he left just to get used to it and he absolutely loves it.
