The 2023 Model B Megawise vacuum sealer does a great job for such a portable package. It took me a few tries to get the vacuum to properly empty the bag but it was not all that tricky. I find that holding the bag even with the clamped part of the bag makes it easier. There are 10 included bags to start you off and these bags are readily available too.
I am tryin to reduce food waste and I think this will help me with those goals.
By taking leftover meats and date labeling and putting them in the freezer we will save a good amount of food over time. This can also be used for just about anything that you want to seal up – from food to arts and craft items – to small electronics and cables you need to always keep together. I have ordered some more bags and I intend to vacuum seal as I want or need 🙂

I have tested several vacuum sealers, and this one is currently on top. All I have tested, even more expensive ones have cheap plastic locks. This is no diff but does feel solid compared to others. Vacuums great! Seals great! Does not sound cheap and rattly like others I’ve tried. For $40 this one is hard to beat!

This is a good vacuum sealer. I got this to help keep foods fresh longer. Also, I have friends that do catering, food service, so this is useful for batch food prep. This can vacuum air and seal bigger bags made for vacuum sealing and jars alike with a hose attachment. This is pretty easy to figure out and use. It effectively seals. It’s not small, but this works much better than the super small ones. This is a good solid effective vacuum sealer.

SHORT VERSION: At this moment, I have no problem recommending this vacuum sealer.
LONGER VERSION: I had a little trouble on the first bag (perhaps because it had a slight crease that let some air get out) but it was smooth sailing thereafter. I was able to get to work without reading the instruction manual because I’ve had another vacuum sealer for a couple of years, and so far, this is outperforming the big name product that left many of my bags inadequately sealed despite costing more thand $100 on sale.
This unit does not feel expensive or sturdy, but it’s getting the job done just fine. The buttons and functions are easy to understand. The pump doesn’t feel as powerful, and it’s certainly not as loud as the name brand unit that I’ve been meaning to replace for too long now. Again, this one is getting the job done.
It comes with 10 free bags, and a tube for external sealing. Remember that you need the special bags to use for this or any other vacuum sealer.
All in all, I think this is a great bargain.

This vacuum food saver is powerful & smart option operated.
It has nice options that you can pick what condition the items are and set it accordingly, size of the bag option, so it changes the timer for the heat.
Its able to vacuum only or able to pulse vac as well as stop it operation completely.
The bags are inserted into a crease in the center and locked down with lock in tab system, there is a lock tab on both sides of the device. After the bag is sealed you unlock by pushing in at both sides and your item is out n sealed.
Really cool option to vac from cans/jars with the tube extra.
Its a very nice kit & 10 extra bags for free!
It even includes step by step instructions via online video if you get confused.
Its my first time using something like this and it really helped how it works down to the T.
So glad I have this. no more good food wasted.

To start off, I’ve never used a vacuum sealer before, I just moved out on my own a few months ago and it never came up, so I’m a little uninformed. It took me wrecking a bag and studying the instructions a bit more to figure it out, but I eventually got it! This seems to do a pretty good job, although because it’s a manual unlocking mechanism, you definitely can’t turn your back on it to make another patty, figured that out when it almost melted through a bag :3c
All in all, it seems to get the job done, I can’t really imagine how you could do it any better, but then again, I’m no vacuum sealing expert.

I prefer to buy in bulk and freeze, that way I save money and time as all my meats are portion out for meals. I also like to marinate and seal, it saves so much time in the long run. I like that it comes with bags, is ready to use and it is quality made… so it should last you some time. I recommend getting a vacuum sealer as it really does make your fresh groceries last longer and this is a great one to use.

My previous vacuum sealer died, and this was a small and reasonable option to replace it. It may be small, but it’s effective. The size makes it easy to store in a small kitchen. It fits right in the same drawer with lock style bag, plastic wrap and foil. I make a lot of freezer meals and big batches of pasta sauce. We also tend to buy family packs of meat. The allows us to freeze all of these things in individual serving sizes. It helps prevent freezer burn so food lasts longer. I had to play with it for a couple of minutes to get that first bag to seal. But, after that, it’s a piece of cake. It comes with ten bags, so you’ll need to get more. But they’re cheap and readily available. The fact that you can customize your size also saves money. Overall, I highly recommend this great little vacuum sealer.
