It lets too much water into the ice tray and there is no adjustment to fix the issue, either. As a result ice cubes are attached to one another creating a block of ice, which will not go thru the dispenser. Also, ice gets stock in the ice tray as it cannot be dumped out because it’s a block of ice.

A bit of a PIA to replace – only because it’s behind the main water valve.
Unplug fridge. Turn off water. Remove noise cover. Remove main water valve (i left water inlet line from house connected). The valve purchased here is zip-tied to the fridge wall – cut zip tie, disconnect 3 water lines and the two electrical connectors. Reverse order to assemble.
