Our dryer was broken for over a month. My 15-year-old son watched a few videos and found out we needed a replacement lid switch. My son was able to take the old switch off and replace the new one by himself. Install was easy for him and it was a good fit. Our local hardware store cost was a little higher than what we paid for this product. This product works

I was getting the code for lid lock issues on my 7 year old Kenmore Series 600 washer.
I installed the new lock, started it up, and started getting a different lid lode related code.
I am purchasing a new LG set. Disappointing.
