This impeller wheel costs significantly less than the factory Broan/Nutone part, which was the reason why I took a chance buying and installing this instead of going all factory when I replaced the dead motor of a Nutone bathroom exhaust fan in our home. I had tried reusing the old wheel and found out that over time it had developed an imbalance and as a result was quite noisy during fan operation. So I came back to Amazon where I had bought the new replacement fan motor, subsequently found this wheel and did the order. After swapping in the new fan wheel the resulting fan operation and ambient noise level was pure bliss. Peace is restored in this bathroom, and everyone is happy once again. And we saved a not insignificant sum of money in the process to boot. Life is good.

I had purchased a new bathroom exhaust fan motor as well as this blower fan that was described as being compatible with the motor I purchased. Both the blower fan shaft and the motor shaft had a square notch to the pieces that was to keep it secure while spinning, but there was no top fastener sent with the blower fan to keep it down on the motor shaft. The inside of the blower fan shaft wore the square notch to a round hole and the blower fan spins on the shaft now! Seems that the plastic made fan blower was made of a BRITTLE cheap plastic that wore down this fast! The sellers last description in his ad states how you have one year warranty and just contact them to resolve any problems, but there is no way to contact them without having to go through Amazon Return function!
