This is my first experience with a hard, non-bendable screen protector. Per the description here — and because the phone didn’t recognize my fingerprint after the install — I tried to re-scan my fingerprint after installing the screen protector. It wouldn’t even scan me, first displaying a message re: ensuring the sensor is clean and dry. When I got past that issue, then repeatedly indicating “make sure your finger covers the entire sensor”. I finally gave up. I’m also having to push a lot harder than usual for the phone to recognize that I’m touching the screen/apps/whatever — i.e. accessing the screen to add another fingerprint, or to type in my PIN since it won’t scan me, etc…
There were only simple, on-the-box install instructions, but nothing to cover what to do with the guide stickers included.
The protector doesn’t quite cover the full screen height (Samsung Galaxy S10+) — there’s a small but visible gap on both the top and bottom edges — and it audibly clicks when I press on the left edge, so I must’ve slightly oriented it further to that side of the phone and the curved edge of the protector doesn’t fit the curved edge of the phone.
Not impressed and will go back to the flexible screen protectors.
