Easy to use, not sure how long they will last, but my kid loves sealing all the bags now 🙂

This works sometimes, it is battery powered and finicky to use. I don’t love it, I don’t use it often. Would have been better just getting bag clips.

Just got this item and have tested it on a couple of types of bags. The metalic kind of bags for like tortiall chips can be tricky – either too much heat/pressure during seal to let it seal all the way through, but once you get the hang of how to use it – it looks promising to do well. Plastic bags seem to do good. Really want to like this item – so time will tell how me and the machine get used to each other.
The little device is powered by 2 AA batteries and while it points to which side the battery compartment it – it is no easy to release the lid – wasnt sure if I was going to BREAK the slide off part. Probably could have been designed for easier on and off – but it is nice and secure once you do it. When I have to change the battery will have the same struggle …………. sooooooooooooo
Love –
It just takes two batteries and you can hang it on the knob of your cabinet. There it is ready for you anytime you need it. I often use it to open plastic bags from the grocery store that are full of various kinds of foods that are sealed — one side (-) has a cutting device in it and if I need to close it again, I can just turn it around and seal it with the other side (+) that gets warm after a couple presses in a few seconds and seal the bag shut again lickety-split.
I’m looking forward to all the time the saves and all of the savings on rubber bands, tape, and other Doohickey‘s used to close things I won’t have to use anymore. I really like this product.

I bought this as a quick open/seal things like chips or cereal bags instead of pulling out my vacusealer.
It does come with 2… and it’s a good thing! The 1st one died within 2-3 weeks of using it. I tried different batteries. I tried cleaning the sealer part… but it did not even get hot after the 1st couple of weeks!
A bit disappointed.
I started the 2nd one so we’ll see how it goes. It may be just that 1 is defective… or both are junk. We’ll see.

Takes a couple of tries before you get it. I would recommend holding for closer to 25-30 seconds to fully warm up instead of recommend 10-15 seconds

This little gadget works if you get it just right. You can’t be in a hurry when doing it and yet if you go too slow, it will just burn whatever you are trying to reseal. But once you find the right pace to do it, it does work. I have used it on chips, frozen items, bread, rice and pretty much anything that comes in a bag!

I love the heat seal on this. It’s so easy and fast to use. I don’t use the cutting side much but it’s also convenient when reopening bags. The hook it convenient to hang in places , I put mine above the sink so it’s easy to grab and I know exactly where it is. I got one for me and my mom, she loves it just as much.
