It works really well, 1 down side is auto record function doesn’t work with the line out AUX.

Compact digital recorder. Works well. Internal and mico SD card memory. Records clear audio well. Great product for the value!

This audio recorder is solid – by that I mean it seems well-built and slightly heavy for such a small device. The display is in color, easy to read, and mostly intuitive to move through the menu.
I love that you can store your recordings internally or add an sd card for easy transfer to another device, or to add your music quickly to this device.
PROS:
Easy to start recording or timed recordings
It offers WAV format
Good noise reduction. Voices come out clearly.
Decent playback quality through the internal speaker and good quality through headphones.
CONS:
Continuous record is hit and miss. I left it recording over 8 hours and no matter which recording length I chose, the segments after the first would be blank. They would show as recorded but there was nothing but silence.
I can’t tell a difference between the many noise cancellation settings.
It is a great portable device to take with you for general recording and decent music playback.

Why would you buy a digital voice recorder when you have a phone that can record things? Primarily for the convenience. If you like to capture your thoughts at random times during the day, you can keep it in your pocket, turn it on and start recording. It’s also great for meetings, where it’s less obtrusive on the table than your phone. The built-in speaker is good enough for voices, but not for music. While you can transfer MP3 files to the device if you want to carry your music with you, you’ll need to bring your own earbuds (make sure they’re wired; this model doesn’t support Bluetooth).
While it’s easier to use than many other DVRs of this size, you’ll still want to read the manual carefully and practice pushing the buttons before you use it in a mission critical situation. Trust me: you’ll be glad you did.
Good functionality and a great price. Minus one star for lack of Bluetooth, but, if you’re not using it for music, it’s a very good deal.

Why get something like this when you can record on a cell phone? Perhaps you don’t have any room available on your phone for audio files, especially if you record long events like lectures or concerts. Maybe you need to leave the device in a room to record while you are elsewhere. You could be that one person that doesn’t own a cell phone. Whatever your reason, there is a legitimate need to own a portable recorder. If you find yourself in the market for one, this is an excellent choice.
The build quality of this recorder is high. It’s very compact (A+ to that), solid metal, and the buttons and switches are logically placed and simple to operate. Recording quality is very good. I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this device. Very happy camper here!

I don’t use these often, so at first I found it a little annoying to try and use. Once you get used to it though it’s great. It comes with helpful instructions for those that need it. The sound quality is great for the price. I had one in the past that almost made me sound like a chipmunk, so this is great. Very useful for those that need to get ideas down quickly. I find that if I attempt to write things down its out of my head before pen meets paper.

The Good: I’m a creative guy and I’m always coming up with ideas, premises, and plots for written/video storylines. The problem is I’m getting older and I will come up with a great concept; and tell myself, “This is a great idea, I cannot possible forget something as great as this!”. Then I forget. With this I can ramble on quickly and record all the thoughts I have and directions this could go. Easy to use and playback.
The Bad: I have to remember to keep this with me.
Overall: In the past I would do excel spreadsheets and powerpoint slides to record my latest idea. I would write down all the key points and put it in a save file. Later on I would order what I need from Amazon and pull up the file and look at the wild idea I had and have no clue where I was going with it. The beauty of this is that I can listen back to my idea and expand upon them. It could be as simple as character development or editing idea, but I have a much better audio memory than written. I had the mini-tape version of this back in college in the late 80’s which helped me pass many an exam. Recommend.

Hard to see and use buttons. Sound is good. Lengthy directions & hard to understand. Walmart has a better one and a few dollars cheaper.
