If you have an ugly cable box and a new TV, with limited space this is the perfect solution to hide the cable box underneath the stand and the TV on top to eliminate clutter on your table top. In my case, I have my TV on top of a chest of drawers. Without this stand, I could not center my TV on top of the chest because of the ugly cable box. The height of the stand is adjustable by simply removing the pop on/off adjustable risers (one stationary and 2 removable). Just remove risers as needed for the desired height. I searched all over in retail stores looking for something to remedy my problem and NO ONE had anything like this; not Best Buy, Office Depot, not even Wal-Mart. I have a 42″ Toshiba Flat Screen TV on top of my

, with plenty of room on each side to make it centered on the stand as well as safe and secure. I recommend getting the extra wide stand if you have a 42-46″ wide TV. I don’t think it will safely accommodate anything larger due to the width of the stand. Also, before purchasing this stand, be sure and measure your ugly cable box to ensure the width of the box will accommodate the stand, only if you are placing your ugly cable box under the stand, with a TV on top. NOTE: refer to the product specifications for all dimensions and weight capacity. It is well made from heavy duty model plastic, so it is very light weight. No assembly required, except to adjust your preferred height with the pop on/off risers. It will also work for a computer monitor, stereo component, etc. The PERFECT solution for hiding that ugly cable box!!

I got this for the LG 38GL950G, a 38″ ultrawide monitor Which has a very wide base. Prior to purchasing I measured the base of my monitor to be 48.2cm wide and approximately 29cm deep so given that this stand is supposed to be 50.8 X 30.48cm my monitor should have just about fitted on it.
As you can see from the attached photos, this isn’t quite the case and it could’ve done with being a touch bigger. It overhangs the edges of the stand by 2-3mm on both sides and at the back.
I think what’s happened is that the measurements they provided are for the widest points of the stand (across the centre) but because it has slightly rounded edges it isn’t quite as wide as they say in the corners.
In still happy with it though and I am going to keep it despite the slight overhang.
It was easy to put together and it’s very strong and sturdy.

This is the perfect solution for those who have a laptop sitting on their desk which is hooked up to a monitor and keyboard. My lap top is on a credenza near my desk. The cat(s) invariably can find no other place to walk or sleep but on your laptop. This is esp so if you have shooed the animal off your keyboard while you are typing. For whatever reason, open laptops are very appealing to cats. They want to lay down on them. Needless to say, such will do your laptop and your document absolutely no good what-so-ever. This product is the perfect solution. I place it over the open laptop and the cats can walk all over to their hearts content. Same with snoozing and napping on it. I can work undisturbed by cat-napping thanks to this devise. Once, the two of them were actually wrestling with one another on top of this monitor stand. My lap top was safe and sound beneath it an I typed away without missing a beat. There was the obligatory “knock off, you two” admonishment but otherwise all was well. I “encouraged” them to take their wrestling match elsewhere. The fact is, however, that this stand is very sturdy – it can easily withstand two cats (and one of my cats is very fat) without batting an eye. If you have cats and an open laptop on your desk or credenza, this is absolutely the way to go. It is like a cat-magnet. For whatever reason, they absolutely love this stand so it keeps them out of your hair (and off your keyboard). The cat(s) can spend many hours snoozing on this stand while you can work undisturbed. There is plenty of room under this stand – enough so that I put the lap top on a baking rack for better air circulation. I only needed to use two of the three available height adjusters. Be sure you buy the wide version – as this one is. Do not buy the smaller version as, then, your laptop will not fit underneath it

Described as a monitor stand it can of course be used many others things as its basically a low profile stool made from plastic. Its because its made from plastic that I believe the price of £36 is a bit high but that’s my only issue with this product. It works well as a monitor or TV stand. Its footprint (space taken on desk) is a maximum of 12 inches (30 cm) by 20 inches (51 cm) but because the design is tapered (its wider in the middle than the sides) it will really sit on a smaller area. The feet themselves are 18.5 inches wide (47 cm) by 9.5 inches (25 cm). Its very functional but by no means a looker with its obvious plastic appearance. If you have a high end modern living space im not sure if this will fit well. The base can be used with 1,2 or 3 of the supplied feet. The base feet have an added black bottom making them slightly longer than the other two optional feet at 4.5 cm compared to the others at 4cm. This means the stand can be set as either 6.5 cm high, 10.5 cm high or 14.5 cm high including the 2cm high top main unit on which the monitor/TV stands.
Very easy to fit together and no need for instructions. Simply slot the feet together and slot into the corresponding slot in the underside of the main top unit. They fit together very well and no tools required.
its worth noting that while this stand is rated at being able to hold 18.5 kg maximum, the smaller version of this is rated at 36 kg. Given that the only difference between them is the width of the top one of those figures seems suspect, I would imagine this unit may well hold much nearer the 36 kg of the smaller unit. I tested this by placing 25kg of weights on it and it didn’t show any signs of strain. For me one big advantage of this bigger unit is how much more you can fit under it, raining the monitors stand off the desk frees up so much more space. Or you lose now is the width of the feet and the rest of the desk space is usable. The 41 cm between the feet can easily fit the 35 cm of a SHY HD box for example.

I needed a stand to prop my monitor up about 2 inches. Most stands I was looking at were too tall (4 inches or more), so I decided to go with this one as it was adjustable.
Pros:
– Easy to set up – it took me much longer to get the thing out of its package than it did to actually set up
– Adjustable – The stand is adjustable from between 2-5/8 inches to 5-7/8 inches in 1-5/8 inch increments (if you remove the legs completely, it stands at 7/8 inches, NOT 1 inch as stated). Its worth noting that the platform itself is 7/8 inches thick, so you can take that into account when deciding what can fit under it.
– Sturdy – It isn’t going anywhere
– Looks okay – I was hesitant to buy this because it looked cheap in the picture. I actually looks pretty good considering its plastic
– Doesn’t sag – I was also concerned about it sagging. My monitor is only 12 pounds, so I can’t say what happens if you put 40 pounds on it, but the sag in the middle is less than 1/16 of an inch.
Cons:
– Legs block most access to space underneath from the side – I was hoping to stow my laptop under this stand to clear some desk space. I tried it, and it didn’t really work. First off, many computers have their power cord come out the side near the back. If this is the case, in order to plug your laptop in, you’ll probably have to have it stick out the front or back a bit. Second, there is absolutely no access to the DVD drive, no matter how I position it. The space is simply smaller that a DVD.
– 1-5/8 inches is a big step – It worked out that the height of 2-5/8 inches worked for me. However, 1-5/8 inches makes a huge difference in viewing angle and comfort. If your optimum height is between two of the levels, you might be unhappy with either one.
Overall, I would recommend this if you’re looking for an inexpensive way to raise your monitor up a couple inches, since there aren’t many that only raise it a small amount. However, if you want to have your laptop under the stand, this will not be the stand for you.

I needed a stand that was tall enough to fit my laptop underneath while still on its own angled stand and it does, so it’s perfect! In my pic, you can see the stand with my 32″ monitor on top and my 15″ laptop underneath. It looks great, matches the rest of my setup perfectly. I would have given it 5 stars but I thought it was a tad pricey for it just being a single plastic shelf. But that’s my only complaint! I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Lo utilizo cómo estante, tengo un mueble donde necesitaba colocar un aparato y la solución más fácil fue comprar este soporte. Ahora puedo colocar dos aparatos en un lugar donde sólo podía colocar uno.
La calidad es buena, plástico rígido con un buen acabado para el material del que está hecho, aunque no es un soporte ideal para tenerlo a la vista. Se notan mucho la separación de los módulos de las patas. Es ideal para colocarlo dentro de un habitáculo, pero no para ponerlo encima de una mesa de escritorio o de oficina, hay otros soportes que cumplen mejor esa función.
La altura es otro punto importante para haberme decidido a su compra, la mayoria de los soportes son muy pequeños y van orientados para guardar el teclado del PC de turno, dado que yo lo queria para situarlo “sobre” un aparato electrónico quería que fuera bastante alto para dejar respirar a dicho aparato.
