I have my wrists on this item right now, and compared to what I grew up with, the ooze filled fabric that erodes the skin off your wrists from sliding back and forth all day, this is space age technology level of difference. worth the price.

I have been using these for years, but come on, 3M, this thing is 19″ long, and this is no longer 1980. Please make shorter compact 60% and TKL versions. With that said, I also wish it was a lot wider. If they made a taller version for mechanical keyboards, I would be in love.
Anyway, this has a soft touch surface which is great when new but wears out after about 2 years and becomes a little sticky as it’s just vinyl underneath. Still, it lasts longer than fabric-covered rests. I am still looking for a good, compact wrist rest, though. This thing is just too long for anything but a large, full-size keyboard. I just don’t have the desk space for this.

I bought this to replace my old kesington wrist rest (which was terrible, I do not recommend), but one thing i did like about it is that it was tall. This one was not as tall, not short enough to be uncomfortable, but enough to not be comfortable.
Note: Looking at the listing again, it does say it is .6 inches, however in the technical details it does say that it is .9 inches (a similar height to my old wrist rest). So partially my fault for not reading closely but also amazon’s fault for not listing it properly

I use a game mat for my mouse pad since I have to navigate across 3 monitors. The mat edge was starting to peel and the material was irritating my arm. I needed a long arm rest for the length of the mat.
The WR85B is firmer than my existing WR340LE that i use for my keyboard, but it is just a smooth and comfortable. Since I have it on top of the mat, it is a little high but does not cause any issues.

Memory foam is not gel as stated. To thin for my liking. Length is good.

I started using the 3M gel wrist rests at my keyboard for heavy typing over 20 years ago and they are the best. I use other “bag” rests at my desks for my elbows and arms, and mouse, but I always rely on the 3M to rest my wrists for typing. They are susceptible to leaking when punctured, but the first one I had lasted over 10 years with heavy daily use. The covering material is very soft and very easy on the skin. The product is sturdy and does not move with heavy typing use.

This gel wrist rest is very comfortable. It stays put on my desk too. The finish isn’t perfect – there are a handful of very small raised micro-dots on the top that I can feel with my fingertips, but are not felt with my wrists. Looks to be associated with the molding process. Aside, I’ll continue to purchase these as it’s the highest quality wrist rest I’ve purchased. Happy!

Good size wrist rest – length, height and width. Density was initially maybe a bit firm for my liking. Note that I got the “matching” mousepad with built in wrist rest, but that wrist rest is a different material – the mousepad wrist rest is slipperier, which is good. The keyboard wrist rest was more synthetic leather feeling, but has worn better with time and the two are more similar now after a few months. Good product.
