Home office desk has a rather sharp edge and my keyboard rest was not long enough to cover my mouse pad also. This is long enough to extend past my keboard and mouse pad together.
It’s just soft enough though not cushy. Cool to the touch and completely eliminates the desk edge cutting into your arm feeling.
Some have complained about it not staying put but aside from my belly knocking it up now and then (I’m a bigger guy), I’ve had no issues. It does not use adhesive but it does have a textured underside to prevent sliding and it has a lip that hangs over the edge of the desk to keep it from being pushed forward.
I feel like it’s a little pricey for what it is, but completely worth it for what it does.

I plopped it down where I wanted it, it doesn’t move, it’s got a cool and sleek vibe, and my wrists are finally happy.
Isn’t nice when somebody makes the thing you wish somebody would make?

I was skeptical about this product because many of the comments say that it moves around alot
I AM HERE TO TELL YOU
When my arms are sitting on this, it hardly moves IF at all.
It’s nice, you can lift your arms and push it around freely, but during use, it sits
I have no clue what kind of acrobatics these people are doing on their desk while working to achieve this thing sliding around lmfao
I love it!

I was looking for the longest possible wristrest for my standing desk and this was it! Only wish it had a sticky bottom since it slides around easily and tape doesn’t seem to work well.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a stable living situation where i can build up a computer setup larger than a Laptop. This wrist rest is by far my favorite addition to the computer. I currently am using a metal wire shelf as my computer desk for it’s ability to pack flat when I inevitably have to move, and this wrist rest turns the cold metal wire bump that my wrists would be in contact with, and makes this setup completely feasible.
I love this wrist rest, the quality is amazing, I grew up using goo filled fabric wrist rests and they always made my skin red from friction of sliding back and forth. This wrist rest is so smooth, sometimes it gets a little tacky, but very easy to clean with some alcohol wipes.

I read the reviews before purchasing this wrist rest.
I knew of the reviews saying it doesn’t stay in place very well and decided to come up with a solution anyways.
According to the reviews, the bottom of this rest doesn’t stick to silicone or glue well, and is difficult to stop from sliding while in use. Since silicone/glue wont successfully adhere this to the edge of the desk, I tried to make the edge of my desk less “slippery.”
I ordered this super thin silicone mat to put under my mousepad and go to the edge of the desk. This reduced the slippage of the rest tenfold.
IDK how to post links in reviews so search for this exact mat sold by the Gartful Store.

This is heavier than I expected, seems to be well-made and durable. Very glad to find one this length. Very comfortable for my arms and wrists, and this has really decreased the fatigue and discomfort from leaning on the edge of my desk.

Very comfortable and its the only wrist rest I can find that is built for the edge of a desk. Doesn’t stick perfectly because its not an actual adhesive, but never really have a problem with it since I’m putting forward pressure on it. The bottom is grippy enough that along with the lip over the edge, it never moves while I’m using it.

In terms of being a wide wrist rest, it’s pretty good. It’s fairly comfortable on top but could be a little cushier. Also, the side that goes over the edge is a bit too rigid for my liking but not terrible.
The real failure here (which I’m not the first to point out) is how it slides all over the place. I tried those adhesive gel pads and regular double sided tape, but neither worked. I don’t want to do something that would cause permanent damage or residue to my desk like screws or the super strong double sided tape, though. I think I’m going to try sanding down the underside to whatever is beneath in the hopes it might take the adhesive better. But for the cost, it’s a bit silly.
