I’m an engineer who does a lot of CAD work and my wrist and lower arm will get sore after several hours of use will a normal mouse. This mouse eliminates the soreness. It causes you to move your arm at the shoulder and not the wrist. Unless you have shoulder issues your shoulder is a better joint to place the motion than your wrist.

I noticed the thumb button is a little stiffer on this version. Previously I had a wired version with a ball (~8 years old) and the thumb button required less force.

Also it doesn’t have a wheel. Most might find this lacking but there is a large button on the shaft for your fingers to press. This acts as the middle button common to Unix machines. To scroll in an internet browser you press the middle button. After a short amount of use I don’t find my self missing the wheel.

The only other draw back is the amount of questions people will ask you about it. My coworkers always ask me questions about it when they see me use it. In a patronizing tone I usually explain to them it is just a mouse and not a joystick for playing video games.

I use this mostly for CAD work and I have to say, it is way more comfortable to use for prolonged periods instead of a regular mouse, it takes all the strain out of the wrist. Sometimes the tracking can be a little finicky, so it seems to work best with line of sight with the receiver, also it seems to be very particular about the surface you use. It loses one star because every once in a while the “left click” will stick and its a bit annoying, and its only been a few months of use, so I’m not expecting a very long life span. But if wrist strain has been killing you and you want something a little more ergonomic, this is the product for you.

This is a really great device once you get used to it. It does lag a bit every once and while but it provides an entirely different experience from using a mouse.

My photo shows the use of a wrist rest as well. When I use this wrist rest with other mice (2nd pic) you can see my wrist bends which hurts – so the joystick mouse does put your wrist in a better position. Being wireless is very nice.

What I don’t like about it is there’s no scroll wheel or extra button customization capabilities or DPI adjustment.

Love it because it keeps my wrist pain free it’s just missing some convenient features that would make it less akward to use.

    3.5 to 4/5 stars.

    Hi There,

The service that I received was fantastic. The parcel actually arrived before the expected date and was in good/secure packaging, which in my opinion, is a sign of good business practices. In regards regards to the product itself, it’s ergonomic the functionality is even better than I expected. Unfortunately, I’m currently suffering from bilateral radial nerve palsy. Thus, this well designed product is making my life much easier.

I highly recommend this product for those who are unable to use a conventional computer mouse. This product would also be great for those who spend a lot of time working at a computer and want to prevent RSI etc.

The product is also plug and play. Making life even easier, as no specialised software is required for it’s use.

In conclusion, an overall great product. 5/5 stars in my opinion.

PS: There is a scrolling mechanism, which is activated by squeezing the joystick type apparatus with your fingers that are wrapped around the device itself. If I do have one minor criticism of the product, it’s that this feature doesn’t operate in all software (unlike the scroll wheel on a conventional mouse). Having said this, this is still a wonderful product.

Ergonomically its good. Often had a slight lag when moving the mouse which got worse over time. After 1.5 years the lag became unbearable. Changing batteries did not help.
Tempted to try the cord version to see if lag or delay is present or not .

I have tried EVERY alternative mouse design on the market including left handed mouse with a video editing joystick on the right.
FinCurv mouse was the best I had used until this 3M ergonomic mouse, but has movement issues using side mounted mouse buttons.
This is THE BEST option for me. It is very well designed with perfect button placement and even considers those with no ability to use a wheel to scroll by placing the middle mouse button on the vertical grip.
I was questioning the purchase at $75 as it is obviously using some cheap plastic and a very outdated sensor. Is it worth it? Yes, if it’s what you need, 1000% yes.
If it weren’t so expensive, I would buy a 2nd to attempt a retrofit.
Seems to use a 144hz sensor so its hardware is very outdated.
I am VERY happy with this mouse. Yes, it has its shortcomings but what it’s lacking in precision it has more than made up in ergonomic and thoughtful design. The designers have my gratitude. Without this mouse I would probably never use a mouse with my right hand again.

The handle is made for a woman’s hand not a man’s hand it has no scrolling feature it’s very tiny and not usable it’s not well thought out and designed as it shows in the pictures

Recently starting getting pain from frequent use of mouse. Most of my work involves casual mouse movements with a little bit of precision work. I typically use all kinds of Logitech mice (M505, M510, M525, M557, T630, V470, and more recently the MX Anywhere 2s and the G502 proteus spectrum), and naturally looked at trackball options like the MX Ergo or the M570. I soon realized that none of them were really going to keep my wrist truly vertical and came across this mouse. I have just stated to use this mouse, but I feel like I can train my hand to use this when precision work is not required. I have both this and my G502 hooked up to the PC and so I can switch to the G502 in a fly for precision work while resting my hands for casual work. This mouse makes things tedius if I attempt precision work, though I will likely get more precise with the positioning and scrolling over time. I have had situations where the right click button has tended to ‘stick’ as some reviewers have complained, but it hasn’t happened very frequently yet.

I have fairly large hands (6′, 220lbs) and the large wireless fits my wrist well, with a tiny bit of squishing the fingers (and so if it had been a tad taller, it would have been even better).
