Good product. Comfortable and the controls with the voice feedback are really easy to use. Good volume whilst mowing or operating other loud machinery.

My only issue is the AM tuning will not lock on 702 and only 700. Signal should be enough so I am thinking it only picks up on stations rounded to 5 or 10. Other than that all the audio functions work well. Bluetooth connecting is fast and seamless.

I’ve had 3M Worktunes headphones in the past and they work just fine. I upgraded to these because I wanted the rechargeable battery and bluetooth for connecting to my phone. However, it did not come with a rechargeable battery which was disappointing. Luckily it is also compatible with AA batteries.

Apparently the lithium ion battery pack is a separate optional purchase which is annoying considering how expensive these headphones are compared to the competition.

The audio quality is…ok. It’s good enough I guess, but I really wasn’t too impressed. I would say they have fairly average audio quality for headphones. Not the best but not the worst. Setting the equalizer on the headphones to “pop” yields the best results. The volume is way too quiet even at peak volume. I felt like my older 3M headphones were much louder.

As with most 3M products the build quality is very good and durable. Feels good on my head; a little tight but they still have to break in. Radio reception seems fine at least in my area depending on the station. Your experience may vary especially if you are working inside buildings with steel beams.
Bluetooth works fine. I don’t know how the battery life will be on Bluetooth but if it is like my old 3M headphones, using the radio they will last for weeks.
The hearing protection aspect works very well around loud machinery and lawn mowers.

They are definitely good enough for the job they are intended for. There might be some bias when it comes to sound quality because I am used to wearing Bose headphones which is an unfair comparison. But considering the cost of these headphones, they could be better. The volume being too low is the most annoying feature. You will still be able to hear the music clearly when around loud equipment, but I often go to turn the volume up and it beeps at me telling me the volume is maxed out. If 3M increased the fidelity of the speakers and gave the amplifier a boost, these headphones would be excellent and well worth the price.

-Defaults to FM after turning it off and on. Does not remember to connect to the previous audio source.

First purchased a pair in August 2019, wore them while working (lawncare and landscaping in the Alabama heat) for 5 days a week, 8-10 hours a day. Comfort wise they are the best i have found for wearing with a hat and glasses, the stock ear pads are decent enough i used them for roughly a year until one ripped and lost its padding. The bluetooth range is pretty good, 15-25 yards maybe.
Battery life is top tier for this type of headset, i can wear them for 3 full work days before they need to be charged, and the battery remaining reminder is a nice touch.
Sound quality for listening to music/podcasts/audiobooks/etc is very good for a hearing safe unit.
Sound quality for phone calls is about what you expect considering the microphone is in a tiny hole on the outside of the headset, so it doesn’t like wind

After 4 years of daily use my first headset finally failed me, the charging port stopped working.
So i bought a pair of the PROHEAR 037, biggest mistake i ever made, while they are louder than the WorkTunes, the sound quality was subpar, the headset was much larger in size, and heavier. I could write a book about how much worse the PROHEAR headset is compared to 3M’s offerings.

So i bought a second pair of WorkTunes, and now i’m happy working again.
