Perfect for the office kitchen.

So far I have enjoyed it it is a little bit louder than others we’ve had but it works well and now we have ice galore which is great!

I do not know whu the review says I ordered and received the white one of this model. The one I received was more of a light aqua. But that does not matter.

Upon receoving this, I took it and its components oit of the box. It seems substantially-made. Per the instructions, inremoved all of the little bits of tape used inside the ice maker. Cleaned it per instructions, chose placement of it on my kitchen countertop and let it sit there so the refrigerent inside would have time to settle. That is one of the most importsnt things to do….let it sit in one place on a level sirface for a minimum of an hour before even attempting to use it.

I, however, chose to let it sit for 3 weeks as I have been busy with other things. Tonight, i decided to try it out. Filled the water compartment with water just below the “maximum” line, as directed. Then, i turned it on and waited. It is notnsuper quiet. And, in fact, the motor on it is easily twice as loud as my refrigerator. But I do not mind.

Within 8-12 minutes, the first batch of ice was completed. It consisted of 10 , hollow thimble-sized pieces of ice. That was a bit disappointing, i had hoped for ice that might be at least slightly larger. However, the ice was relatively firm and did not immediately melt when added to my lemonade. However, after the first batch, the motor just…stopped. which confused me, because there was a lot more water in the reservoir. I read through the manual again, which wasnt very helpful. The troibleshootong guide did say, though, ehen the oce ready indicator light is on, snd it osnt running, theboff/on button can be depressed continuously x-amount of times in x-mount of seconds. So I thought, “soooo do i jist keep pressong it over skd over or do i jist hold the button down? ” i tried the first understanding, bit all it did was move the arm bsck and forth seversl times. So then i turned the machine entirely off. Waited a bit. Turned it bsck on. Nothing. So then I held the off/on button sfor 5 seconds. The machine came back on and continued to make ice until the reservoir was empty. Yes, the cubes are small. But they’ll do. I just let a fee cycles run through to full the basket and then collect them into the cute ice freezer bag that comes with the machone, A plus: these little cubes fit inside a water bottle! Overall, i am thus far satisfied with my purchase. No more slippery ice trays spilling all over my freezer.

Let’s seen how well it works over time.

One of the reasons I bought this machine is because it says it makes 2 different sizes of ice. I thought that was a great idea and an added bonus to this machine over others. However, after sending a message (How do you switch to the larger cubes? I can’t find a switch or button and it doesn’t explain in the handout. Please advise.) I was notified that this model does not come with that option (Sorry, this model you purchased cannot adjust the size of the ice cubes). I feel that this is a huge error for Amazon to continue to advertise this item as it is because like me others may think they are buying something that it just cannot do. Plus I had to pay a $39.99 shipping fee to receive it. Don’t be fooled by the product details.
As far as the machine, it does what it says. It makes cute LITTLE bullet ice cubes every 6-9 minutes and keeps making them until the little basket is full. Great for one person household like me. Don’t expect it to stand up to a large gathering of guests it just doesn’t make that much ice. Have fun.
