It seems to cause a problem with the tablet if they it is moved even the slightest bit while connected. If moved, the tablet will make a beeping noise through the headphones and the screen will start blinking. It will pop up “task” without prompt. Unfortunately they do not make children’s headphones with anything but a jack.

It works as advertised. I needed this adapter to share an Instagram video on a non-smart tv during a presentation. I made sure the charging cord was long enough to be plugged in from the tv to a power source. Once the adapter is plugged into the phone, charging cord and hdmi cord, it takes a few seconds and then it works. This adapter only works for when sharing certain video apps on the iPhone. Make sure to read the description. (i.e. Netflix is not supported.)

The quality of this adaptor is good! However, it will not fit with with the Otterbox protector case I have and I would have to remove my case everytime I wanted to use it. Unfortunately, I will have to return.

I am very picky when it comes to my little purchasing benders here on Amazon. So I’m constantly looking for the best deal or the best bang for my buck rather. Like most people, I always want the best of both worlds, reasonable price with above average craftsmanship or production value. And I’m usually successful. This item being a prime example (pun intended lol 😂) I had bought something similar recently that was double in price, however it claimed to do more (gold memory card, transfers photos and videos between phone, computer and cameras) however when I got the item and tried to do what it’s main function is, it did not work. Wouldn’t connect my phone to brand new monitors or anything. And because it failed at it’s prime directive, I wouldn’t even try to see if the product can deliver on its other uses/promises. So I returned it and ended purchasing this item. It claims it can connect to monitors and tv and what have you. And it delivered. It’s a simple seeming device but it’s incredibly useful. If you want to be able to hook up your iPhone or iPad to an external monitor or tv. This is the item for you. Keep in mind I have yet to try the device on a tv. But I safely assume it works because it’s practically the same process to use it on a monitor which works great.
In summary; the product is as advertised. Tested and true to its primary function. It’s a well made device for a more than reasonable price. I recommend this item wholeheartedly
