The monitor is really good. However it has some ghosting but for the prices there’s no competitor right now.

The features on offer, the price, and the quality in which I received the monitor warrant five stars. I am very happy with my purchase.

Have had this monitor for about 1.5 months now and I’m blown away! To be completely transparent I haven’t owned any other 2K monitors but my last was a 4K LG and I prefer this one 100%. This monitor does require a good amount of power if your seeking to use the 260HZ. Right now I’m running a 3070, 48gb of ram and a i7 10700, and with most things on 260hz its fine but if I try to do like max settings OW2, or other high demanding applications it starts to heat up, bring it down to 144hz and its fine but I think 3070 is the lower end for good 260hz performance across the board. (I’ll be getting a beefier gc so I may update review based on that performance level). Overall super clear, amazing color, lots of customizable options for the user settings, and doesn’t break the bank. Also the visual aesthetic of the model is really nice, no bright colors, LED’s, etc. just sleek black and nice to look at. I hope to hold onto this monitor for as long as I can.

Guess I’ll be the first to type out a review for these monitors. I have so many good reviews about the last-gen Asus tuff 144hz monitors but none for this one. I bought on the reviews of the last gen and I have to say I am not disappointed at all. The panels are super bright with awesome color out of the box. I calibrated to my liking and overclocked in the options menu to 260hz and I’m sure I will never turn back from that. Everything is so buttery smooth and in 2k. I really love the clarity and sharpness of anything that gets played. Coming from acer predator 1080p 240hz to this was day and night. I bought 2 to have side by side for my setup. Currently running intel i9-11900k, rtx3090FE, and 64 GB ram so the setup can for sure push them both. These monitors bring new life to my gaming, I would absolutely recommend them. Great price for a killer monitor. Also, it is 100×100 Vesa mount compatible

It’s that time of year where I roll the dice on yet another 1440p gaming monitor. This time, I ended up with yet another piece of garbage, brought to you by Asus.

First, the color adjustments on this monitor are awful. The sRGB mode is incredibly inaccurate, and all the other modes have some baked in settings that you can’t see or change. Racing mode, which seems the most accurate, locks you out of saturation so you can’t adjust for the neon colors. Scenery and cinema lock you into some sort of bizarre extreme contrast mode, and the other settings are just plain jokes (night vision and MOBA are particularly hilarious).

Thankfully the G-Sync functionality works, although the monitor is displayed as “not supported” with the latest Nvidia drivers. You have to check a box that forces G-Sync options on in order for it to work at all. I installed the latest monitor drivers on the Asus support website, but that didn’t fix the issue. Thankfully the feature seems to work in games, and the OSD reports the correct refresh rate as it adjusts in real-time, but it’s a little odd to advertise something that isn’t properly supported.

The deal breaker on this monitor for me is the backlight brightness consistency, or lack thereof. The middle of the screen is perfectly fine, but the backlight intensity drops off a cliff towards the edges and corners of the screen. I guess as long as you don’t pay attention to your inventory, HP, clocks, mini-maps, or any other element that lives in the corners in pretty much every video game out there, you’ll be fine.

At least it has good color temperature consistency and no dead pixels..

For the price, monitor is amazing and very good performing. I have both the 1080p 280hz version and now this brand new one 1440p 260hz. ELMB Sync lowers nits quite a bit, but if you game in a darker environment it should be negligible. When ELMB Sync is on, amazingly smooth. Best visuals you can get for the price. Stand feels extremely premium too. Colors are vibrant and nice when set to Scenery and Contrast adjustments. It’s damn amazing for the price, though I wish I could raise the brightness during ELMB sync. 1080p version was plenty bright with ELMB on. Once you go ELMB or any type of motion blur reduction tech, you can’t go away from it. Fair warning. If this is the budget, get it. If you can fork more money, go that route, just make sure it has some sort of motion blur tech similar to ELMB Sync. My new main? Very possible

absolutely DOA. powers on, no picture, no OSD. apparently asus has been having problems with their quality and I thought the newer models might be a little better.

disappointing for a tuf branded product
