This vacuum is amazing. The picture shows how much it picked up in about 10 foot square area as just a test spot. Clearly my old vacuum was barely working as far as suction goes. The only thing I don’t like is the pet hair attachment. It’s small & ineffective which is disappointing since this is pet vacuum. If it wasn’t for the attachment issue (which is pretty useless) I would have given this 5☆

Ok. The suction is good & it pulls up pet hair pretty well. The canister is small but that seems to be the theme with most vacuums now. All the attachments fit well and don’t fall off randomly. They are all in good locations that don’t interfere w/ movement. The cord is shorter than average or at least shorter than my last 2 vacuums. I love that the brush roller has a clear top so I can see when my own long hair is built up around it. Placement of the on button is not the best. I’ve hit my toe a couple times getting to it. I don’t think it does well on bare floor. The air blows to hard & pushes all the stuff around; I end up chasing dog hair around. I love that it’s not top heavy like I’ve noticed w/ some other vacuums. My biggest complaint is the non-existent self propel motion. If you are not vacuuming with the exact grain of the carpet, use your muscles to push! (If you’re reading a review on a vacuum, you know what the grain is.) No matter what setting I put the vacuum on, it in fact did NOT propel smoothly across the carpet. Force was required. Also, the base is wide and taller that I’m used to. It doesn’t fit under the front of my couch like my old one did. I have a futon for a couch too. There are no side suction areas for along the baseboards. These last 2 things don’t hinder me from using it or liking it though. I still like it and think it’s a really good vacuum with getting all the pet hair.

We have been using this vacuum for 5 months and it has been perfect hasn’t plugged once from the hair and hay we are vacuuming up from our large rabbit, the old vacuum would plug often from the combination of hay and rabbit fur.
Definitely worth the money, we would buy it again without hesitation.

When compared to other more expensive vacuum brands that I’ve owned its certainly worth buying not only for the price but how well it works. It’s also very lightweight if you have a multilevel home.

I have been using this vacuum for a week and the suction is unbeatable. I have two Saint Bernard’s and a maincoon cat who are all regularly blown out and brushed. This picture was taken after I had vacuumed the day before with a stand up as well as our robot vacuum vacuuming that day. I did not expect this much crap to come up. We have a new build house so new carpet. This vacuum is great at getting into creases against the walls without the need for an attachment. This is an easy to maneuver vacuum and the attachments are great too! I would repurchase this vacuum which says a lot since we usually go through one a year.

I purchased a Bissell CleanView for myself a few years ago, and I’ve been so impressed with it that when my dad’s vacuum died, I wanted to buy one just like mine to use at his house. Here are a few of the reasons I love this vacuum cleaner.
I’m really loving the quick release extension wand on this newer model. It’s so much easier than pulling the hose off the bottom to attach the wand and tools to. I was kind of expecting it to be heavy and awkward to use but was surprised at how light weight and easy to use it is.
I love the all-in-one brush / crevice tool. Being able to switch back and forth between the two with a push of a button is a game changer. You just push a button and can slide the brush up beyond the end of the crevice tool for cleaning the edges of paddle fans and baseboards.
The scatter free technology is no joke! My 83 year old dad likes to eat dry cereal as a snack and usually drops some on the floor. His old vacuum would just chew it up and throw crumbs back all over my feet. At my house it works well for vacuuming up kitty litter without throwing it all over the place. This new vacuum has absolutely no blow-back! Just make sure that when you’re using it on hard floors that you have it adjusted to the lowest (bare floor) setting.
The thing that impresses me the most about the Bissell CleanView Pet vacuum is that the hair doesn’t get all wound up in the brush. It’s not much of an issue at my dad’s house because he doesn’t have pets, but at my house, I have long haired cats and I myself have really long hair that’s always shedding. With my old vacuum I would have to sit on the floor with scissors and cut the hair from the rollers about once a month. I’ve had my Bissell CleanView Pet for well over two years now and there is NO HAIR on the rollers! NO HAIR!!!!
Coming from someone who’s tried just about every brand of vacuum out there, I have to say I will always buy a Bissell from here on out.
