I haven’t found one thing about this kettle that I don’t like. I wanted metal so I didn’t have to worry about breakage, and the powerful wattage means I have a full pot of boiling water within minutes. Love the base that makes it easy to remove the pot to pour, and the chord tucks neatly away under the base. The pot is easy to clean; I just rinse it out and leave it to dry with the lid open. The button opens the lid to a 45° angle but a small push opens it all the way to 90° and it stays open until you close it. Every few months, boiling a mixture of white vinegar and water quickly takes care of any hard water spots that start to form. As far as I’m concerned, this kettle is perfect!

This kettle is simple, well designed, and free of plastic. Better than some expensive competitors. I’m very happy with it – while doesn’t have the multiple settings of some competitors, it does have double walled stainless steel to keep water hot without constantly using electricity.

Dec 3’19 UPDATE: After no luck reaching out for help with troubleshooting.. I gave up and bought another kettle. But as soon as I did this one started working again. No clue, glitch? I did see the lid separate from the lip of the lid, so when the kettle was boiling it didn’t read the temperature right and boils longer than it’s initial boil time and the steam was stronger and coming out of the gap. It got too hot and popped off? I dont know really. Not brand new, got a used one? There was a chip in the top lid where the lid was so maybe it eventually steamed apart. Maybe it was dropped when packaged?
If the reviews are for design and functionality, I’d say this is a good enough kettle. But for lack of customer service, I deducted a star ⭐️.

Oct 16’19 UPDATE: the Cosori just stopped working. It worked fine 2 days ago. That’s only 4 months! Of course the window for a return in out.

June 2019 – This is my 2nd attempt to owning an electric kettle.
1st order was the Amazon brand which I opened and used as soon as I received it and it failed (leaked) in the spout and handle area. So I immediately researched again, read more of its user reviews.. then went back to my list of 3-4 potentials and chose this newer Cosori. For a person who drinks and makes hot tea daily it’s top priority to have clean boiling water. Would I use a simple glass whistle kettle like I had at first again? Only if I can stop accidentally breaking glass, borosilicate glass or not. I took a photo for comparison in height and design between the Amazon one and this Cosori before I returned the other.
This Cosori kettle is a nice kettle. Good light weight for its size. I like the color combo, mostly black and sleek. It boiled right at 6 minutes and then turned off immediately. I was hoping the base could act as a warmer (keep warm) base for the kettle but that probably would require more work in the engineering (R&D) department because the kettle automatically turns off when the kettle has reached the correct boiling point. So I dont know how they could have both functions. Maybe some other brand has it and I missed it. To me what’s important is that it works great! It does what it’s suppose to do and that’s to boil water.
Clean up is easy. First 1-2 uses you may find water spots after the water is poured out but from what I read it’s from what’s inside the water we use that gets left behind, like minerals. To rid of it I used 1 part vinegar to two parts water and let it sit for a few hours (because I forget about it) and just normal recommended cleaning. 1:2 part ratio is like 1 cup vinegar and 2 cups of water. I use a bottle brush or a used fabric softener (doesn’t scratch and scrubs very well) and Dawn.
I have filled the water tank past recommended up to the two holes line in the spout to test if the boiling water leaks or spits/shoots out boiling water if you pour over the tank’s recommended capacity. Result?! Still good!!!!! Although I can only speak from my testing on my kettle.

I’m in love with this electric kettle! It heats water in no time. It is simple to use, quick, and efficient. Just don’t fill it above the max fill line or you’ll end up with a mess – I’m speaking from experience.

My wife was looking for an electric kettle that didn’t have any plastic at all contacting the water (the outside and handle and parts of the lid are plastic, but all surfaces contacting water are stainless steel). We previously had a more expensive Kitchenaid kettle, but were disappointed when it broke shortly after the 1-year warranty expired, and we were out of luck.
We took a chance on the Cosori stainless steel kettle, and found it to be just as good as the more expensive Kitchenaid. We are heavy users, and boil water 6-12 times a day. The Cosori kettle lasted 14 months, just a little longer than the Kitchenaid, but thanks to the 2-year warranty, we contacted customer service and were promptly sent a replacement kettle. Impressive customer service for a kettle that cost 1/3 of the price of the Kitchenaid!

First time electric kettle owner. I used it recently and I’ve started getting excited to use it.

First thing I did was read the manual. It is short and talks about how to use it and has safety instructions. It repeatedly says to not fill the kettle above the “MAX” line (which is shown in measurements inside the kettle). Also while cleaning it, to not submerge the bottom of the kettle and the part that boils the kettle in water as those are electric parts. Unplug the appliance when not in use.

It comes with the kettle and the part to boil the kettle. It is also corded, not wireless. For easy of portability and space, the cord is able to be wrapped underneath the part that heats the kettle.

It’s very easy to use. Plug it in, fill the kettle with water (do not go above “max”), set the kettle on the boiler, then press the clear tab down. It will light up while boiling, then automatically turn itself off when it’s finished. Wait 5 minutes before pouring.

Also I learned to have the kettle in an open space and not underneath anything because while the water is boiling, the kettle will have hot steam coming out of the spout. I placed it by a window in my kitchen during use as there’s an outlet near it.

The water is way hotter than the hot water dispenser I have. I am so excited to use it during winter. Also the water still stays hot after an hour. Great for coffee and tea!

I’ve had the stainless steel double-walled model for nearly four months now. It’s a great basic kettle. I have no complaints about its functionality whatsoever, it’s as easy to clean as advertised, and it doesn’t do anything silly and irritating like sing or beep at you.

The only problem with its design involves the inner wall’s steel lip that the lid sits on. Because a ring of it is exposed on the outside of the kettle, it’s possible to burn your fingers depending on how you pick it up. This won’t be a concern for anyone who only tends to grip the bottom of the handle, but for everyone else, it’s something to keep in mind.

Purchased for air bnb. It heats water quickly. The design of kettle prevents it from getting hot to the touch. Very nice appearance.

This is a great size kettle and is super easy to use. You can also flip the on/off switch before it fully boils if you just want warm water. We have hard water so the inside had some spots after a couple uses but a little vinegar removed them. The outside of the kettle will not burn your hand even when the water is boiling hot inside. The blue light on the switch and the kettle itself both turn off automatically when done, but it does not have any other indicator like a whistle so you have to keep an eye on it

The wide mouth design is what i like most of this electric kettle; easy to pour water in and also to clean.
Simple, functional and looks great. Would recommend this.
