  2. …that’s weird

At the time of this review, I’ve had this Dell combo for almost 4 months. At the time of purchase, I had looked at multiple options for keyboard/mouse combos and landed on this one. There were a few reviews at the time that caught my attention, “keys stick,” “mouse issues,” etc but at the time I assumed they were one-offs. This product being a Dell, from Dell was enough for me to take a chance. I wish I had not.
I’ll start off by saying this combo is being used in an office setting during a normal M-F 9 to 5. There is no excessive wear and tear. Almost immediately, I started receiving a “mouse battery low” error, that is lovely enough to be shown as a pop up window that won’t time out. You have to manually clear it from your display every time. This error came within the first two weeks of use. At first I thought, no problem, the batteries that shipped with them wasn’t name brand, may have just been bad batteries. So I changed them to Duracell Pros. I still continually get this error daily even with the first set of new batteries and an additional set. Plus the pop up is annoying to have to clear multiple times throughout the day. Second issues with the mouse is that it looses its mind at least three of the five working days. It jumps from one portion of the screen to the other, ‘double clicks’ when I only click once so every email I click on opens up or pages/items move when I don’t want them to, etc. Overall, bad mouse.
The keyboard does not fair better. The keys do stick. Badly. Again, this started happening early into the purchase, probably a month. It’s annoying as well especially when its the function keys or Enter, then all kinds of background tasks are trying to open and I can’t do anything except for turn the keyboard off and rake the keys trying to unstick the one that’s stuck.
With the issues between the two devices this combo is definitely a distraction and not in a good way.

Bought this for my work computer, which is a Dell. I needed a replacement for my Microsoft wireless keyboard, that crapped the bed and costed 3x as much. Keyboard and mouse paired with no issues. I actually have it attached to a KVM switch and works flawlessly with both my Windows work computer and my personal Mac Mini.

Looks great and works great, only thing is I wish it were rechargeable. It honestly suuuccckkkksssss that it requires batteries. Definitely not best for people who need to use theirs 12 hours per day 5 days a week for work. So for long term use, probably not the best choice. I’m returning mine and ordering the rechargeable keyboard and mouse (still Dell) for only about twice the price. Worth it in my opinion. Plus the rechargeable set is also multi-device which is a beautiful touch.
All in all, this did the job as it should and I appreciate my time with it, but it’s time to move on to something that makes a little more sense. Good value for the money tho

I bought this wireless Dell keyboard to replace a wireless keyboard that was not working properly. Almost immediately this one did not work. The keys are often unresponsive and do not give any action. The mouse never worked. Needless to say, I will not buy another! Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

First things first – THERE IS ONLY ONE USB DONGLE LOCATED IN THE MOUSE OR THE KEYBOARD. Windows 11 recognized the keyboard but with a different name, hence the battery reporting was not accurate (I had to replace batteries twice). I was about to return this keyboard but I gave it one more chance and went into the Dell webpage and found a firmware update for Windows. After installing the update the system immediately recognized the part number and start reporting the battery life accurately. I’m so happy now that I got rid of two cables in my workstation, now I can put other junk instead ;).

I bought this to use with a Macbook and monitor. I probably should have bought an Apple product. The keys don’t match the Mac keyboard which is really frustrating as I have lots of shortcuts set up for the 3d modeling tool I use.

I was hoping I could use the Mac’s built-in Bluetooth to connect it but no, I had to use the USB dongle provided. Of course, new Macs don’t have old USB ports so I have to use an adaptor.

The keyboard also feels very ‘clunky’ to use – don’t know how else to describe it. I’ve never made so many typos.

The mouse is super lightweight and feels flimsy.

This set might be good for occasional use but not day-long intense work.

I use this with a Dell laptop and it is excellent. The pairing was super simple and quick and seems to be reliable. The feel of the keyboard and mouse are both great. A really good product at a great value…

I bought this Dell wireless keyboard/mouse package after the cheaper $22 Dell package arrived and the keyboard would intermittently not work (no on-screen response to typed letters). So that was returned. Dell makes good stuff but I figured I’d go ahead and spend a bit more and got this one. Works great; love the wireless ability, and super easy to get connected and start using. Highly recommended. I wish the mouse had a bit more programmability to it but at this price, it’s not an issue.
