Arrived promptly, easy to use and remove the filters after use to wash- but the smell of cooking is not completely removed- will continue to use and see how it does work. Might still return it. For the price, I hoped it would do better. Purposely fried fish as soon as it came. Maybe fish fry is too strong????

its a small, slightly noisy unit, but it actually seems to work as well or even better than the downdraft exhaust on my range. It did not appear to ‘catch’ and oil in the catch container, but it certainly sucked the steam/etc from frying into the unit, and was easy to take the filters out and clean after.

Haven’t had this fan very long, but it seems like a great solution for an induction cooktop without a built-in exhaust. It’s bigger than it looks in the pictures, which is a good thing! I feel that this powerful little fan will suck up any cooking smoke or oil splatters.
