Frigidaire – 4.5 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge with Top Freezer – Silver

Bought this during a promotion to put into a basement-turned-“relax room” and am more than pleased! Extremely ample space for a variety of drinks, and the freezer can hold several ice cube trays with space left for a few small confections. After fiddling with the placement of the shelves and reversing the refrigerator for to open from the opposite side, I’ve finally found just about the prefect configuration–whether it is for game days with the guys, home spa days with the wifey, or just me kicking back and watching movies or gaming. I will state as a sole negative so far–reversing the door hinge was kind of a pain in the butt. The manual is for many styles of mini fridge, yet this model was not specifically referenced in the instructions. They also recommend using a standard screwdriver, but i had zero success with that route (instead needing to employ a socket wrench to turn the bolts). Once i realized that, though, it was smooth sailing. I’ve added pictures of a nearly fully stocked fridge with my final door rack and shelf configurations. I was able to fit 24 12-ounce beer bottles, 12 12-ounce beer cans, 12 16-ounce beer cans, 2 bottles of pre-mixed cocktails, 2 bottles of champaign, a bottle of white wine, and several various bottles and cans of juices, water and seltzers…with some room to spare! I can’t recommend this enough as a bar fridge, i am very happy with this purchase!

This Fridigaire mini fridge has a much larger capacity than I estimated from the online photos, and has already freed up more usable space in our regular kitchen fridge. A few notes: – This fridge has sheet metal edges underneath — wear gloves if picking up and moving by hand! Many appliances are sharp underneath/within though, so this isn’t specific to this little fridge. – The shelves can hold a 9 X 13 baking pan (see picture), so there’s no need to try and clear up a bunch of space in your regular fridge if you need to refrigerate a cake or some such thing. – The freezer section can hold half gallon containers of Blue Bell ice cream! Like I said, this thing is bigger than the online pictures make it look. – There’s a little finger pocket to open the door with (see picture). – Little yakult probiotic drinks and small yogurts are perfect for this fridge, and save you from having to hunt for/reach for these small items when they’re mixed in with big stuff in your regular fridge.
