Very quiet, affordable and efficient!! We’re buying more! We felt instant relief within minutes no more stuffy head, nose etc. You dont realize the gunk in your air until you get one of these. Lasko is a trusted brand in our home and always will be!!!

I purchased 3 of these over a year ago to filter the air I have 2 in my living room and one in the bedroom. They have run 24-7 since I purchased them and never gave any problem. As to the door issue if you properly seat the cover in the base then snap in the top it makes an audible click when it latches. They have never given me a problem. I took one on a trip to run in the hotel room and the cover never came loose during loading and unloading in a wheeled cart then lying on its side for a 4 hour car trip each way. The filters can be hard to find so order them ahead of time. I live in a dusty area so to be safe I change at 6 months I also use a shop vacuum to partially clean the filters if I detect low airflow. I have Goldenrod, Ragweed and Cedar pollen I live in a forest so also have oak and pine pollen as well as many acres of native wild flowers these units make life bearable without needing mega doses of allergy pills.

Relatively easy to use for a newbie and nontech savvy person like myself. Only a few buttons to navigate.Pros:- it functions and I assume it’s filtering the air- it hasn’t exploded (I chose this model as the “highly recommended” options on Amazon sometime explode and I wasn’t going to risk it)- the replacement filters seem to be relatively affordable- white noise (unintentional but a silver lining I guess)Cons:- it’s louder than I’d prefer. I purchased it with the reviews that it was quiet. I’m not sensitive to loud noises but I’ve chronically needed to turn up the volume to things I’m listening to while this device is on- red “change filter” light is on and won’t turn off regardless of the various tricks found onlineOverall: does the job, good enough for my purposes
