This is a nice, fast laptop! But Windows 11 makes my older software and peripherals (like my printer) obsolete. Win11 won’t run older software nor recognize drivers for older devices. Forced obsolescence!!

The laptop runs awfully. Constant stuttering and slow load times. The laptop is horrible for anything productivity and basically falls apart after opening a couple chrome or firefox tabs. Look elsewhere if you can, the deal looks good but the laptop is just awful.

I had a bad year in 2022-2023 trying to get a replacement for a 15″ overheating Alienware. Dell’s new Alienware’s were very problematic, and a cool Acer Nitro 17″ turned out to have an ONLY red-backlit keyboard (ouch) and to have a dead power pakc/battery after the first use. Sigh.

More research and much question-asking later, and I decided to try this Lenovo 17″ white backlit keyboard with 32G RAM, 1TB SSD, nVidia3050, Ryzen (my first NON-Intel), Windows 11, etc. I have been using it regularly for a month or more now, and I do love it. It is solid, good backlighting (I get tired eyes), good boot-up and processing speed, very nice RAM, enough hard drive storage, etc. etc. Good machine, stays fairly cool even in the computer games I play that would get the Alienware very hot to the touch. I is very good for the reasonable price, for using for work and play, etc.

I got this because my other, much cheaper one broke, and was not disappointed. The graphics are great, keyboard’s flawless, and the amount of RAM and storage on this thing, well, it’s overkill, but in the best way possible. Great laptop, I 100% recommend it.

I did so much research before purchasing a new gaming laptop. This one had all I needed and more. I love the graphics, the sound and the picture quality this computer has to offer. It is a great laptop.
