LG – Energy Star 9,500 BTU 115V Dual Inverter Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi Control – White

First of all this exact model is very hard to find. In fact , nobody seems to currently carry it. My local appliance store an LG retailer couldn’t even order it for me. SO , Amazon saves the day AGAIN. First off this seller shipped for free from an already fair price. And I actually had this A/C on my steps within 5 business days. It arrived in perfect condition . The space I am cooling had never been this cold until I bought this LG LW1019IVSM . Even at it’s highest fan speed the noise is very reasonable . The air is extra extra cold . No vibrations , rattles or annoying stupid noises usually associated with window units. The Smart Thin Q app works wonderfully so far. To be able to remotely control this high quality unit before you get home for a price point of only $419.00 !!!One thing you should all know . The fine folks at LG supply these ” L ” brackets as a Support . You mount them to your window sill outer sash. SOME windows like mine . These brackets simply won’t fit. Not even close to being a support solution. Lucky for me this thing isn’t that heavy. My window accommodated it with no issue. THIS may leave some people confused during the install process. You can skip this step. It won’t matter. The next model up ,15000 BTU dual inverter which I also have has an entirely different ” L ” bracket system that is much more substantial and well needed that unit is just big enough to be a problem in some windows. But not the 9500 BTU model .The air is ice cold , the app works , the unit is quiet . This seller is uncommonly fair with free shipping and actually shipping it fast . You just don’t see a 72 pound box making it to your door fast for free from amazon. So you better buy this while you can.

So I purchased this because my NYC apartment gets very hot in the Summer. After a failed dual-hose portable AC, I decided to give this a try to deal with the stifling heat. I had an installer put it up in my window and just turn it on, within 15 minutes my bedroom apartment was cooling. No special Requirements to install to get it up and working. I will say it is a lot quieter than any AC I have used. I have tried the energy saving mode, which cools the location to the required temp. and then goes into a sleep mode and every couple minutes turns itself right back to ensure the room is at the desired temp. I have not as yet tried to cool my place to the lowest possible temp. due to the low 70’s being sufficient and cool enough for me.I called all over the place to find this exact AC, and amazon was the only place I could find it. Shipping was fast even though it was not prime shipped. I ordered on a Sunday and had it at home by Wednesday. NOT DAMAGED !!
