I got this computer a year ago on sale. I’m not sure if it was the best option anymore. When I opened the box and got out the laptop, I was extremely disatisfied with how the charger is made. It is very bulky and heavy. I held it in my hands and new it was going to break just from being handled. I’ve been very careful with it since I got it, but it’s already broken. I plugged it in a few days ago and it’s acting like a wire in it got damaged. I have no idea how it happened because I’ve been treating this thing like it’s made of glass. The damage is in a place I can’t fix myself, and a replacement is over $50. Not the happiest with this predicament, especially since it’s only been a year. It’s a very flimsy and cheaply made laptop. The screen is incredibly thin, and any corner on this computer is sharp enough to draw blood (I am speaking from experience). It has multiple glitches with the screen, especially when it’s been on for several hours. Some glitches are present when it starts, and I’m unsure if its an issue with software or hardware. These issues have been present since I bought this computer brand-new. I like the keyboard and how I can customize the colors on it. It runs fairly smoothly, but I’d be hard pressed to call it a gaming laptop. I got it to use for art programs and animating. I almost constantly need to use the fan booster option or else it’s going to melt (this is not with heavy use). The only thing it can handle pretty well is casual use or light gaming. It’s better than any laptop I’ve owned previously, but I can tell there are better ones out there in this price range. A lot of the other issues it has are minor to me and can be ignored. My old laptop was given to me almost completely melted and I could barely open chrome on it (took 2-5 minutes to load). This laptop compared to my previous one is a luxury item of the highest quality. No one else who owns this computer would think so. It’s pretty, I guess, but I didn’t buy it for its looks. I’m most inconvenienced by its flimsiness and charger design, especially for the price it’s at.

Best laptop ever, full magnesium shell, it seriously feels like a smooth piece of black steel. So cool, but also protects the laptop from anything without some silly case. I’ve owned 2 of these and i love them. You could use this for business and noone would bat an eyelash, finger print reader, infraread face scan and unlock so even if it’s pitch black it still finds my face and unlocks. Both mine still run and it’s been years daily use.

Defective from the beginning. It kept crashing a few times a day. I would restart it but would crash again and again. I gave it about one week to get better but it did not. I had same model few years older and worked great but this computer was very disappointing. For this price, I expected an outstanding new computer and not defective from the day one.
