The MPG 321 URX is a 32 inch qd-oled monitor that offers many advantages over this version for just $50 more. KVM, 90 W power delivery over USB-C and firmware updates. If you don’t really care bout those things, then go with this one, otherwise it may just be a few weeks wait.

If you get the mpg version it’s a good monitor but the mag version has no bios update n will have issues that won’t ever get fixed. Stay away from this model n spend $50 more on the version that will support updates.

MSI’s website lists this as 15W PD over USB-C, no Firmware updates, no KVM

The standout feature of this monitor for me is its unmatched performance in gaming, video, and movie watching. The OLED display coupled with 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate delivers an immersive experience like no other. Games like Resident Evil Village come to life with unparalleled clarity and smoothness, surpassing my previous experience with an LG IPS monitor. The bright highlights and dark shadows just absolutely blew my mind upon seeing them. I’m exploring other HDR content as well, and I expect it to be nothing short of breathtaking.

I opted for this MSI monitor over competitors due to its superior design and functionality. Unlike other brands with bulky V-shaped stands, MSI’s square stand not only looks sleek but also conserves space on my desk, enhancing the overall aesthetics of my setup. Moreover, the minimalist all-black design is much nicer than the typical flashy gamer aesthetic, offering a more sophisticated look.

There are a few downsides as well. The Amazon web page says 90W USB C – but it is only 15W in reality. – I’m not sure if this is a fault of MSI or Amazon when configuring the web page, but I was not aware of this when I ordered it. Lack of firmware updates may raise concerns for those who value long-term support and optimization. I will add that I have not had any OSD/Software issues with this monitor so far, and have never had to update a monitor’s firmware in the past. Also the white LED on the bottom bezel indicating it is powered on can be a bit distracting at certain viewing angles, but as I sit above it and have the monitor on its lowest level, it isn’t visible very often.

    Strengths
    – Outstanding Design & Aesthetic
    – Amazing Visual Fidelity
    – Noiseless & Fanless Heatsink
    – Highly Competitive Pricing

    Weaknesses
    – 15W USB-C (Not 90W as advertised on Amazon)
    – No Firmware Updates
    – White LED on Bottom Bezel is Bright

    Overall:
This monitor is the pick if want the latest in QD-OLED tech, or if you also want 4k @ 240HZ. For $900, it was worth every penny. Big fan of the aesthetic and design. No firmware updates should be a non-issue since it works perfectly out of the box. USB-C is only a concern if you want to plug a laptop into it to charge it. This being the cheapest of all the new 32″ OLED monitors is just the cherry on top for me.

Images are a comparison between the LG 27GL850-B and the MSI MAG 321UPX.
