Anna –
This is our first Nutribullet – previously we have owned Vitamix or regular blenders. This has been great for making single smoothies.
The blender itself is a matte gray stainless steel blender which arrived packaged in both an inner and outer box. All parts were individually wrapped. Included were the blender base (motor), (2) 24 oz blending cups, a 32 oz blending cup, blades, and tops for the cups. Also included were instructions for the product and a recipe booklet.
The blender is very easy to operate. We have been using every morning and almost every night to make an almond milk, ice, cocoa smoothie. Simply add your ingredients to the cup, screw the blender blade onto the cup and place it onto the base unit. Push it down turning slight to lock the blade into place so it will operate. There are suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place while operating. Once you plug the AC power cord into the outlet the two and only buttons on the unit appear. The top button is the continuous blend and the bottom is the pulse blend. The 1200 watt motor is plenty strong enough to handle anything we wish to use in our smoothies and crushes ice easily.
Clean up is easily done with dish soap and water. Would definitely recommend for any home and would also make a nice gift for others.

Because I had an older Bullet that wore out, it was used to plug it in. Fill up cup. Put on blade puck, twist and it runs!!
This one, all is the same but I twisted the cup in the base and …. What? No power?? Ahhh…the button is on the front. Have to select it. 🙄

Pros
• Improvements compared to Nutribullet Personal edition NBR-060111 & Pro 100 model
• Build Quality, simplified design, with 2 use options
• Heavy duty motor
• Ease of Use
• Accessories galore
Cons
• Odd base design that uses suction cups for feet (see below)
• Click feature for blender cups is a little tricky at first
Verdict (4.7 stars out of 5)
Design
• Major design improvements include sleeker base that is a single sealed unit. The personal and Pro units had a base like stand at the bottom, the main issue was there are crevices between the base and main unit (these collect, dust, overflow drips and it is hard to clean)
• It now has speed and program features. Once twisted and locked into place the 2 lighted icons appear on the front of the unit (they don’t illuminate at any other time). The solid round is for a standard 30 second normal cycle (if you push it again during the cycle it stops the blender), the second circle icon with spaces around it is a pulse program and again pushing stops the program
• This is a much heavier unit compared to the Personal edition which I own
• The twist lock in design is an improvement but takes a few time to line up properly in the grooves to get used to it. It improves upon the previous versions that are twist and push down to operate.
• The base spin mechanism is an upgrade, it is thicker plastic and easier to clean. Other versions have clear less durable spin mechanism and are harder to clean if you get leakage
• The screw on base with the blades is an upgrade from previous models. The blade is easier to clean, and the screw on area is deeper and tighter. The older versions where shallow, longer blades, tough to clean and seal in the base was a nightmare. It would collect whatever you blended over time underneath the seal. Requiring regular removal and cleaning (no fun to get the seal back in place). And you would get mold if not removed and cleaned.
Power
• The motor is 1200 watts compared to the personal at 600 watts and the Pro 100 at 1,000 watts, there is a noticeable difference depending on what your blending (example frozen strawberries)
Build Quality
• Top notch build quality in materials, motor, and ruggedness.
Sound Level
• I didn’t find it to be the quietest and found no difference in sound level compared to the Personal NBR edition
Base (feet)
• An odd design as at the 4 corners instead of using rubber flat feet they use suction cups for feet.
• The pros are if you want to always keep the blender in the exact same spot and not move it (this to me would be rare)
• The suction is heavy duty and once put on a surface requires some serious effort to remove it. Which makes it a pain to move to different spots. My work around was to use a small wood stand attach the suction and easily mover the stand to different locations. The other option would be to apply stick on rubber feet to the suction cups (would need to be ¼ to ½ thick) and you would have standard rubber feet.
Accessories (impressive amount)
• 2 blending cups 24 oz & 32 oz cup,
• 1 24oz cup with handle
• 2 to-go lids
Overall, I am impressed with the upgrades I design (sleekness), improved motor and operation, the # of accessories and the function and performance.

Don’t under the bad rep nutri bullet has, but this blender was amazing. it crushed ice and blended the shake well, also cut fruit with ease. Highly recommend this blender.

Really enjoying this blender, I chose it because it mentioned that it was on the quiet side and it really is. Compared to other blenders it definitely has a reduced sound. Blended up milkshakes and smoothies so far, they turned out great.

There’s this smoke smell whenever the power is at max and I’m only making smoothies. Plus it shakes a bit, the base doesn’t feel completely sturdy despite being heavy.
I think the design can be more minimalist, not a fan of the Ursula feet. Also, the color looks more black in the photos and commercials but in reality it’s a lackluster gray. But love the 32oz size!
Also props to them for removing the cap gasket in the new blade cap design. That thing was nasty and collected so much mold and gunk in the old nutribullets!
I might have to stick with my old Ninja that doesn’t exude smoke scents and is surprisingly quieter.

Very happy so far. Reasonably quiet even when blending ice cubes. Blends well. Doesn’t take up a lot of room. I love that it came with 3 cups instead of having to find AND buy them separately like some other options. And all dishwasher safe (minus the base, of course). I researched several options including commercial grade, blenders that had a cover to deaden the sound, some options with only 1 cup, etc., but am very pleased with this option for the reasons above. There’s even a recipe book included with some ideas for new recipes!
