Back in the day (mid 1970’s) Pioneer made exceptional sound systems, so when I saw this offer by Amazon I took the plunge and replaced my 5 year old dumb computer monitor with this “smart TV”. Video quality is not what I would expect from an ultra high definition 4k light emitting diode display. Sound quality is adequate through the TV speakers. I use the optical cable to run the sound through my entertainment center. The remote is of very poor quality. It is small, flimsy, select button started sticking after only 10 minutes of use doing initial programming. Placement of buttons not intuitive. Ok for casual use, but If I had it to do again I would spend the extra bucks on something with a better refresh rate.

There are 3 HDMI ports available, but when you switch to a different input, you will get the message that the input has been switched….and a black screen. The only way to fix this is to unplug the set to reset everything and then try again. It does this on all 3 inputs so, buyer beware. If you are using this just for the smart TV, you should be okay..

Purchased this TV off of Amazon and picked it up the same day. Setup was easy. I like the Fire Tv operating system much better than the ones on my LG and Samsung TVs. Both of those do not have access to all of the apps I can get through Fire. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I think the remote is excellent. The picture is not LG OLED quality but bright scenes pop and it is good for the price.
