I didn’t buy mine on Amazon, but I can confirm that mine works as intended. After about a month of researching I settled on the 34′ Odyssey G5 , because of the 1440p, 165htz, and 1000R curve it offers at a competitive price of $399.99 (on sale) when I bought it. The dark color calibration is kind of a pain. The HDR is a joke. Mine had a dead pixel 1 week after unboxing. I’d still buy it again.

Really disappointed did research for about a week for the right monitor for my needs, finally ordered this one and waited a week for shipping, finally received it, set it up and TADA huge line through the screen rendering the monitor in useable, really sad because the monitor looked beautiful the curve was wonderful ugh here we go

Was very happy with the monitor. The curvature was very nice, though maybe a little too much. The colors were nice, the blacks were sometimes washed out but changing certain settings was able to almost get rid of that issue. It was very sensitive to the touch. I had it on a vesa mount for my desk and anytime i touched it to move it, the screen would visually show where i was touching the back of the monitor as if I was squeezing it even though I was barely touching it. So I stopped moving it and kept it in place once I saw that. It was fine for the next few weeks until I tried to use the split screen feature. The monitor went black, but you could still see that there was light coming from it. From that point on it stayed black forever. I had it for one month and it was physically fine but then just stopped working. I tried many things to try getting it to work again. I checked the devices plugged into it, the cables, etc. Everything was working normally besides the monitor. Luckily I was within my return window and now have an amazing 34″ UWQHD Gigabyte that is brand new for $400 ($150 less than this renewed product) and it was a blessing in disguise. Much better picture and features. I feel like the quality of Samsungs monitors has been going downhill for awhile and this verified those thoughts. I have always used Samsung everything, but I will never use a Samsung monitor again after this. Gigabyte has won my business for the time being.

I bought this last year and frankly it came already broken. I plugged it in to several rigs I have and every single one (a 3070, a 1660S, and a 3090) had an awful screen flicker that rendered the thing unusable. I used it for a year despite the horrible flicker- and now its just DEAD no picture, nothing.
I included a picture of my rig to back up that this is a legit review, and that you should not touch this monitor with a ten foot pole.
My other two monitors- a stupid cheap Acer and an ASUS TUF 32 inch curved monitor- work so much better without issue, for far longer (TBF, a year is a joke for a monitor to last) and I bought BOTH for less than this piece of garbage. Do not recommend, get the HP Omen instead.
