Have used this for dry products (coffee beans, dehydrated peppers, etc.,) and it works well for the price!
It does occasionally get stuck and nothing happens when we try to turn it on. I pick it up and tap the bottom a few hard times and it seems to unstick whatever is causing it to not function, but it is a bit inconvenient. Never dropped or damaged (unless it got knocked around in shipping.)

I really liked this when I first got it. Sadly, just after the 3 month return window, it started not working properly. I had to adjust the top several times before it would grind. After 9 months of using it once a day, it completely quit working.

I bought this coffee grinder May 9, 2023 and gave it a 5 star review. I loved it!!! Today is October 18, 2023 and I am changing my review to 1 star because it no longer works. I am so sad! I really don’t want to replace it but the engine no longer works. I have written to the company and I’m hoping for a replacement but my time is up for a refund from Amazon. Here’s hoping!
10/27/23 I wrote an email directly to the company and they replaced my grinder for free! It works great!! I am very thankful they were so quick to respond and sent a new one right away!! Great service!!

Wanted something quiet and compact to take along in our camper. We have a hand grinder too, but grinding 70 grams of coffee beans takes some time. This grinder works great. Yes it is not a burr grinder, but honestly it is okay, just don’t grind the beans forever and they will not burn. Great for our camper, not loud at all and very compact.

Some notes about my specific needs:

    – I have MCAS/food allergies which means my allergy-safe foods are expensive and can sometimes go out of availability so I don’t share them, and I need dedicated equipment for many things to avoid cross-contamination with anything other people in my house can eat that I can’t.
    – I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) which causes fragile skin, hypermobile and easily damaged joints, and puts me at high risk of repetitive stress injury, so ergonomics are very, very important.
    – I am neurodivergent and can have difficulty with loud noises at the wrong time.
    – I make coffee every. single. day.

Coffee is one of the many foods I have to buy a very expensive version of to avoid allergen-cross contamination, and because of the cost I don’t share it with my spouse, so we have our own coffee grinders and coffee makers (well, a french press for me).

I initially got this grinder for my spouse to replace the huge burr grinder that took up way too much counterspace and had a weird design that made emptying the grounds into the coffee maker also throw grounds all over the counter. Once I used it a few times to make “his” coffee, I realized that the grinder I used for myself was making every morning just a little worse than it has to be, so now I’m buying a second of this model for myself to replace my current grinder.

    – Removable cup is easy to clean and is much easier on bad shoulders to empty into the french press than lifting the whole entire grinder.
    – Removable cup has rounded edges so it is physically more comfortable than some other grinders to get in and out of the base. (see below for caveats)
    – Removable cup seals to the plastic lid so grounds don’t fly around and fall into the base while grinding (this happens with the other grinder)
    – grind button is easy to press, even with floppy, easily-dislocated EDS thumbs and doesn’t need to be held down for the grind cycle to complete. (I have splints but the odds of finding them before coffee is low.)
    – The grind coarseness setting is more useful than you’d think on a blade grinder *if* you are always grinding the same amount of coffee. The button seems to basically set a timer for how long the motor goes, so you don’t have to sit there and hold it and try to track how long you’ve been grinding. (See below for caveats)
    – QUIET. I thought that all coffee grinders had to be loud. I didn’t even realize that the noise bothered me until I was used something quieter and didn’t have my teeth set on edge for the entire grind time. I don’t know that this is so quiet I’d be able to have a comfortable conversation standing right in front of it, but at least I don’t have to also tell people in the next room that they won’t be able to hear each other for the next 30-40 seconds because I’m grinding coffee.
    – Does the intended job- grinds your coffee about as well and evenly as any blade-grinder can.

    – Consistency issues with the quality/ease of seating the bowl: The first grinder I got was very easy to get the bowl and lid properly seated. The second one I bought for dedicated use with my allergy-safe coffee beans was much harder to get seated and physically hurt my hands. I had to exchange 3 times and swap bowls and lids between units to get the same smooth mechanism as the first one I ordered.
    – Even with the ideal fit of bowl and lid parts, there are still some fiddly bits that may be difficult if you have coordination issues. I think these fiddly bits are very necessary to make sure the cup is properly seated into the base to avoid undue wear on the motor or gears, but it may still be a barrier for some. It’s currently okay for me but I am not sure for how long.
    – The grind coarseness setting is not really a coarseness setting. As noted above, it’s useful, but with any and all blade grinders, the actual coarseness is in part determined by how many beans are in the cup. So this is only helpful if you grind the same amount of beans every single time. Fortunately we mostly do.
    – (UPDATED) Long-term reliability: When I initially purchased, I was worried about both the long-term reliability of the product, and the possibility of the maker going out of business. 7 months later, the manufacturer still exists, but the first grinder I purchased has started to have an issue with with the mechanism that detects the bowl is locked about 7 months later. About half the time the machine will not run without re-seating the bowl and lid a few times. I emailed the seller and they are sending a replacement, but that also means I’m throwing away a bunch of hardware which I don’t really prefer to treat a small appliance as disposable.

I don’t feel the reliability issue is worth a full star downgrade since the seller stood by it, but if I could downgrade it like, 1/2 a star, I think I would. Maybe 1/4. If my second unit also craps out in under 2 years I may go ahead and downgrade- the waste really bums me out.

Purchased this one as our previous one was dropped one too many times and the top didn’t make it.

This one was well reviewed, which is why we purchased it. It is much quiets and easier to clean. Stores away nicely.

    This little grinder is amazing!

I purchased a different one before this one that had plastic and it cracked as soon as I grinded some nuts. No good!

This new one I purchased 6 months ago grinds nuts to an oily mush quickly and in no time. I’m no longer worried if the nuts will break the plastic casing since it’s made of ALUMINUM.

The inner seal works pretty good.

I thought I had to buy another unit to be able to make a one single serving vitamin booster shake but when I looked at my past history to see which grinder I purchased I was surprised to find out that I purchased come with the TWO cutters (wet/dry). Cool!

Since finding out for myself JUICING FRUITS will DRASTICALLY increase your blood sugar, I now rather crush the whole fruit into a liquid Including the fruits fiber, which is key to carry those healing and anti-inflammatory properties through your entire digestive system, not just your blood!!!

It’s perfect for a coffee size anti-inflammatory vitamin and immune system booster! (75% carrots, 10% orange, 10% apple and 5% fresh Ginger root) half of thumb size.

I quickly make a hawthorn organic tea in my Keurig with 4 ounces of hot water, I add a teaspoon of organic raw, turmeric and unfiltered honey. I let that sit for about 5 minutes. I removed the tea bag and squeeze them into the cup. I add a few ice cubes into the hot tea. When it cools, I use that liquid to pour into the grinder along with the carrots, apple, orange, and Ginger.

It makes a perfect one serving delicious drink. You can even grind almonds, and black walnuts to add to the your shake and you won’t even know it’s there.

Very powerful little unit and pretty quiet.

This little grinder (using the wet cutter) gives you a perfect size immune booster cup or a coffee mug size. If you want a greater amount, you can quickly and easily grind the vegetables and/or fruit in two separate batches and pour them into a bigger cup or tumbler.

I have a picture that shows how much liquid the wet cutter holds on a 16oz mug made of double wall borosilicate glass. They sell them right here on Amazon! It keeps your hot liquids and cold liquids hotter and colder for longer!

Perfect for coffee since glass is non-porous giving it a fresh taste.

Clean up is less than 2 minute!!! Time is important to me since I also do this before work. I take off the cover, the cutter and just wash and rinse them off. I dry them with a towel and done, it’s ready for the noon booster cup or after work. If you prefer air dry it, it takes less than 1 minute to clean the cutter, it’s cover, and countertop.

It’s also good for making your own healthy personal dip, enough for two people.

You can also make your own one serving oat milk to add to your coffee or cereal. Just add water, vanilla extract and oats, done!

I really enjoy my healthy eating lifestyle, been doing this for a while but my wife is not there yet. This little grinder makes it possible for us to separate what we consume without one party compromising or sacrificing what he/she wishes to eat.

The uses on this thing are almost endless.

I highly suggested this product especially the model that includes the wet and dry cutter like the one I purchased. You never know when you’re going to use a small wet cutter.

I’ve owned 3 different grinders and this is not only the cheapest, but the most durable and easiest. I love grinding my coffee in the morning now! It’s fairly quiet, it’s super fast to grind a whole container of beans, and cleans out so easily.
