I absolutely love all of the features this upright vacuum has. I was looking for a vacuum that was cordless or with a retractable cord. I had previously purchased a Hoover WindTunnel Whole House Rewind Corded Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, which was heavy bulky, lacked suction power and not easy to maneuver.
This vacuum is so lightweight, VERY easy to store, and the battery life is exactly what I need in our 1200 sq foot condo. I use it on my area rugs, carpet, hardwood and tile flooring. I do not have very much room for corded floor cleaners due to our limited space, however this vacuum is PERFECT!
If you have trouble pushing other vacuums because of their weight, this vacuum is definitely one to consider.

Less suction than I expected, but it gets the job done. Compared to other sealed systems, I think the price is fair. It probably won’t replace my corded vacuum, but works well for quick clean ups.

I had reasonable expectations that an upright would not be as good a cleaner as a more heavy duty vacuum; however, I knew it would be more convenient. My last upright was a wimp from the beginning, and didn’t handle my long hair strands well. This Shark is so much better than I expected. Instead of having to pull my long hairs out of the floor brush, they neatly curl around the tube in the debris collection cup. For that alone I am a happy camper. ! I appreciate the various little devices that are so easy to use. It took me a while to notice the finger grip to easily and suddenly up the power when needed. The buttons to switch back and forth from hard flooring to carpets, to remove the power unit, and to dump out debris are easy and seamless. The light is a nice touch that helps hair and little bits show up, whether in brightly lit or shaded areas.
Most of all, I love the ease of using just the power unit with various tools, all of which were included. When I store the vacuum, which I keep in a closet, I separate the power unit and place it on the floor so it is handy when needed. I am very glad it doesn’t have to be stored and recharged on a wall unit, as it is not artwork to display. It is quite easy to plug it in, and handy to have the three blinking lights to know the level of the charge. I am so glad it turns itself off after reaching complete charge, so I don’t have to worry about watching it.
My house is surrounded by trees and a pond, and I like to keep windows and doors open when the temperature permits, which means a lot of “nature” crawls into my house. Cobwebs frequently grow in wall and furniture corners. When stored, I keep the crevice tool on the power unit so it handy to pick up to remove cobwebs and droppings from my many plants, or from dropped crumbs in the kitchen.
After a long rainy season this summer, carpenter ants decided to try to set up residence in my house. They would make their way to the kitchen. I placed diatomaceous earth around areas where I saw them. Because it is recommended to get rid of ants that make it into the house, so they don’t return to their nest and provide news and a path to a good area, I kept the power unit with the crevice tool handy in the kitchen. Every time I saw an ant, I quickly scooped it up. For good measure, I first sucked up a little diatomaceous earth to be waiting in the cup. Within three weeks, the ant population diminished every day until there were no visitors. After a week without ants, I used the crevice tool to pick up all the white powder. I don’t think I would have been so successful with my ant problem without the convenience of this light weight, easy to use, power unit. It is now my new favorite tool.
If I had a design suggestion for this vacuum, it would be to have the capability to vary the length of the handle. It is a tad long for a person under 5′ tall, something I find to be true for many appliances that are likely designed by tall men.

Good product! To be completely honest, I was actually surprised at the suction power this vacuum has. It is lightweight and I like that you can store the canister on the wand itself. Extra points because my son loves the easiness of this vacuum and is more willing to help clean now.
The battery doesn’t last quite as long as I expected but it’s sufficient enough to not dock points.
I do wish there was someway to store the attachments together but again, not a big enough deal to dock points for me.
Only reason for the docked point was because as others mentioned, my order was also missing the pet multi tool attachment. I contacted Shark with zero help. However, I reached out to Amazon’s customer service and while they were unable to replace the missing item, they provided me with a partial refund so I can purchase the attachment myself.
Overall, great product and great Amazon customer service.

Much better than a comparable Dysan! The head unit is lighter than a V11, the brush head is heavier. The design is so much better! No trigger pull to start, an on/off switch with power setting. You can turn the brush on or off. The brush head has rollers which actually work! the Dyson does not like turning. Suction is great. Much less tiring to use.

I love this vacuum. My first cordless vacuum. I have owned and still own other shark vacuums. I like how small this is for storing. It is the one I reach for the most. Simple and quick to use. It sits in my hallway always ready for me. I bought it to do my main floor for cat hair. I was sick of dragging out the big vacuum every time I wanted to vacuum. Which made me vacuum not as much as I need to or should have. With this little vacuum I could easily grab and do a quick zoom around my floors or rugs. I use it daily. Sometimes twice a day if my floors get messy. Cat hair gets sucked up no problem. It is easy to empty. Attachments go on in a quick snap and you are ready to go. It charges on or off the vacuum. Which I usually just pull of the battery pack and charge it on my kitchen counter. It sucks up stuff from rugs well. I thought I would just be using it for my floors for cat and human hair but I use it every where. If you are vacuuming a whole house you may want to buy a second battery. I live in an apartment and find I can do all my vacuuming on a single charge and some in between. The only draw back I have is that it does not have the spinning brush attachment included. You can buy it separately on the their site but it is about 100 dollars. So I just use my other vacuum for stairs. The dusting attachment does not really do much in my opinion. I mostly use the long crevice attachment. I have used the upholstery attachment to and it works well. I also like how it has a light on the floor part of the vacuum. I would recommend this vacuum.

I’ve had this Shark Stick. Accumulate for six months and it now overheats after five mins and shuts down. There is barely any suction when it does work. I did a lot of research into this product but it seems I have been terribly disappointed by this product’s performance and longevity.

The brushless brush thing on this is amazing. I have two golden retrievers, a cat, and two people with long hair in the house. I’ve never experienced a vacuum that doesn’t wrap the hair around the brush. Even really nice / expensive pet vacuums collect all that junk around the brush. Now I’m not sitting on the floor cleaning the vacuum brush every time I want to vacuum.
The only thing with this is that I would not recommend for thicker carpet. The couch, hardwood, and rugs have all worked wonderfully.
The power really holds steady throughout the charge so far! The canister is small, but the convenience of the vacuum means it’s easier to vacuum more frequently = less overall time, and less dirt/dust/hair to pickup each time.
Attachments work great, and everything is as light weight as you’d want a stick vac to be.

I have had this for a few months now, and I just love it. I did get it on a prime day deal so the value was even better, but still think its reasonably priced for what you get. I’ve never had a stick/cordless vacuum and its just a game changer for quick clean up, but i also use it in place of my normal vacuum for all my hard surface floors. It does fine on the carpet, but I couldn’t do the whole house on one charge so i use my normal vacuum for deep cleans still. Using this in between definitely cuts down on the need to do deep cleans more often. It does charge quickly and love that you remove the battery pack so its easier. The attachments are great as well. Its so light and more powerful than i was expecting. Its so easy to use on my stairs which is another reason i got it, as my normal vacuum is too bulky to do so. My traditional vacuum is a shark as well, i think this brand is just a good as more expensive ones out there. If you live in an apartment you could probably get away with just having one of these. The canister holds more dirt than expected. It also stores very neatly and compactly. Oh, and i was BEYOND impressed with the packaging, very environmentally friendly, there was ZERO plastic. I was so impressed with this. Overall, super, super happy with my purchase!
