This is the fifth wireless router I have hooked up.. 2nd wifi6 enabled. I finally found our winner. Yes, went through all the brand names and one from asia. This is BY FAR the best! We have it in the back of our pantry, there is a ton of metal work all around and still get 100% signal strength. We have 7700sqft yard and i get it well into the neighbors yards. 👍🏻 Setup took less than 5 mins and that included firmware update. User interface and update change speed is fastest I have experienced. TP-Link is a winner (we tried a much more expensive TP-Link AC router and it sucked). Will update this after some usage. Original 5-star review.

I have a a 400mbps internet connection thru Suddenlink. This router will put out the 400mbps speed on wireless and the range is fantastic. But, after a few hours the speed will slow down to about 50mbps. After a reboot the speed returns. But again, after few hours the speed falls back. I have my router programmed for a reboot everyday. Apparently TP-Link recognizes the problem but has not been able to fix it.Otherwise, very easy to set up and the speed and range when it doesnt slow down is fantastic.Update 1/31/2020: went back to my second home after about 8 days and my ring ring doorbell had quit working because of no internet connection. I checked the internet speed and ookla said it was -0-. I unplugged the power and waited about 5 mins and plugged it back in. I after the router connected to the internet the speed was 433 Mbps. I had programmed the router to reboot everyday which does not work, to restore functionality power needs to be disconnected. I disconnected the router and brought it. I reset it per tp-link instructions. I then hooked it up to my internet at my main home and found all 4 Ethernet ports no longer worked. I then packaged it up and sent it back. I really wanted to love this thing, it is amazingly fast but it simply does not work.

95% of our life is on Zoom now. Three different devices plus other electronics connected to WiFi causes for a lot of traffic in the internet world. We already had the fastest speed offered in our area from AT&T. I thought the next route was to get an extender after a lot of advice from the dear employees at Best Buy they recommended WiFi 6. I had never heard of it before. I found a better price and it was in stock on Amazon so I ordered on here. I am familiar with computers so putting this together was not difficult. I think anyone is capable of getting it done though. I am very satisfied with this device. I do not have any buffering what So ever. My home consists of four smart TVs/Apple TV, we use YouTube TV which relies solely on internet, three smart phones, two computers, four iPads, and a few smart devices like light bulbs and switches. I consider this to be a lot. I am not a reviewer but thought when it comes to a purchase like this I relied a lot on others reviews. It helped me so I hope this helps someone else. Amazon does offer tech support. I suggest watching the videos on how to set up. It was so simple. I would recommend this to anyone. 10/10 from me.
