If you have a Vitamix base “i” version (i.e. A2300i), this attachment will not work for you. Only found out by buying one, having it not be detected, and calling customer service. Otherwise, it looks like a good attachment. Hopefully Vitamix will come out with a version that works on its International base.

This is an amazing food processor. First off I love the wider option to add larger items into the culinary blend. Even adding liquid becomes easier when the target doubles in size. I am not saying I am a Swedish chef, but I do have a tendency to make a mess of the kitchen (This unit helps limit my countertop food mosaic. Secondly, I love how quickly this blends everything. Clean up is also extremely easy. I had a Cuisinart prior to this one. It was a great unit but this is even better and I believe worth the extra money. Happy blending!
