This is a lovely toaster, but in the past my appliances have had a dial that could be specific to my preferred “done-ness.” but this one has a click dial that moves incrementally. I find that the English muffins I prefer need a level between two and this is not possible. Once I find the right one that works for me, I want to be able to depend on it. Now I have to accept under cooked or overcooked unless I can manually cancel at just the right moment before the number 2 time ends. I would not buy again for this reason, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth to try and return it now that I have realized how this works.

My old toaster oven croaked two days ago, so I went to the computer and good ole Amazon, the new toaster was delivered within hours! So far it seems to be a decent toaster but when one slice of white bread is toasted, on the lowest setting (as instructed), it is too light but when I notch it up to a 2, it pops up burnt. My solution is to toast it at a 1, then reinsert the bread, and press cancel when it seems to be adequately toasted!
(My dad speaking to me from the grave that I shouldn’t be eating white bread-no nutritional value.) It does toast quickly, even frozen items. I suppose it is a very good toaster if you don’t toast white bread

This is almost like one I purchased in the past. Larger hold area for thick bread or bagels. Has a bagel button and a defrost button. Heats up very well on the lowest heat level of one

I’ve been searching for a toaster since my ancient one died! Don’t really know how many have been trashed/returned, but quite a few! This one is the best I’ve found in my search! It’s especially good for bagels. The openings are nice and wide and it has a bagel setting that just toasts one side. The darkness settings works well for single or double slices.Also the crumb drawer is easy to use. Besides all that it’s very sleek and modern looking sitting on my coutertop. Very well made. Thanks Amazon for a beautiful and much needed addition to my kitchen!
