So I have come to the conclusion, if your looking for a great film screen protector, this is it. It really does feel like glass and it doesn’t scratch as easy as any other film. Though it is not as hard as glass either. After about 2 months it’s time for me to get another, because it’s very scratched up

The warranty makes this a worthwhile item, because for the life of your phone you can always go in and get another screen protector.

The only bad thing, ZAGG needs to work on their installation method. This screen protector is Not easy. There are so many better installation methods that exist so why do they keep to this Inferior method ?

TL;dr: Poor design, poor fit, and a poor application method make this high-priced screen protector not worth 1/4 of the asking price.

I’m no stranger to Zagg screen protectors, as I’ve had their glass protectors on my kids iPhones for years. Though high priced, the quality always seemed to more than make up for it. That’s why I was so eager to get this product for the S24 Ultra.

The first problem I noticed was that the product was so poorly fabricated that the alignment holes on the protector did not match up with the guide posts on the alignment tray. Admittedly, I should have just stopped there and returned it, but I figured I could make do well enough by pulling more tightly than I was comfortable with to make it fit. Because of this, the initial application was extremely crooked, forcing me to lift the protector off and reapply it, which left behind way too many bubbles.

Second, the backing that you mist remove to expose the adhesive side of the protector was stuck on very strongly- so strong, in fact, that it was almost impossible to remove the backing without using my other hand to hold the protector in place. This caused me to unavoidably touch the adhesive side of the protector, leaving smudges around the corners of my screen.

Finally, there’s the overall fit. This protector ONLY covers the part of the screen where the OLED panel is, leaving a 2-3 mm gap between the protector and the edge of this screen. Why Zagg doesn’t thing that that glass needs protecting as well is beyond me. Furthermore, because of the gap, I can feel the hard edge of the protector every time I swipe from the edge of the screen.

All in all, due to the extremely poor and lazy design of this protector, as well as the poorly engineered application method, I cannot recommend this protector to anyone. Personally, while I’ve been a fan of Zagg products for a long time, I don’t think I’ll be buying anything from them for quite a while. Such a severe drop in quality from a company who usually puts out a good product is generally indicative of bigger problems as a whole.

I have Zagg screen protectors previously and they are excellent. They are tricky to put onto the phone screen so follow directions to the tee- no short cuts!

I’ve always gone with top-of-the-line Zagg screen protectors, and was excited to try the XTR3, but this screen protector was a bit of a let-down. First off, there’s more friction between the protector and your finger, (compared to the bare phone screen or a glass protector) which I suppose is to be expected with a protector that isn’t glass, but it’s noticeable and an annoyance. Second, it smudges very easily. Third, and the real kicker, it gets scuffs and scratches from just being in my pocket?? I’ve only had this protector on for about two weeks, and I’ve never seen this before. The scuffs are very noticeable as well, and distort the display in those areas. The reason I’m giving it three stars is because of how easy the warranty replacement is. I requested a replacement after my first one had issues, now the second one is having issues, but if desired, Zagg lets you request a different replacement product than what you have, so I chose their Glass Elite protector this time, which I’m hoping will work out better for me.

I only buy a screen protector every few years, and this is what I chose this time. It only covers the display area and not the bezels, so I have this strip of raw screen between the lip of my case (also a Zagg product) and the screen protector. The install went well, (ended up with only a single speck in the corner) with the instructions and materials providing a well centered result. Using the phone with the protector on is perfectly fine, with only a slight halo effect around the edge of the screen. Fingerprint scanner works as well as I’d expect, writing feels smooth, surface is glossier than the actual screen of the phone is. I didn’t feel offended paying $60 for the protector considering the price of the phone, but seeing it for 50% off on sale immediately after I bought it irked me slightly. Have to see how it holds up in the long term. I plan to never come close to testing the product’s claims, so I’ll try and remember to update this if anything ever happens.

ZAGG screen protectors have never let me down. This one arrived quickly, had clear instructions. Super easy to install, even for the technically challenged like me. My phone has been dropped countless times and the screen stays pristine. Registration for the lifetime warranty was a breeze. Have only had to return a ZAGG once, about 8 years ago and it was nothing to do with the quality of the product, it was all on me. But they sent me a new one rickety split with a return envelope for me to return the one I messed up. Great products and great company.

Title says it all. This is roughly a 30+ day review. And at the time of purchasing there wasnt a review.
I was disappointed out of the gate. No sooner than I applied it, it lifted in one of the corners. I regret not getting a refund or replacement.
After 30 days it’s scratched to the point it’s absolutely infuriating (that only took 2 weeks) and now lifting in 3 corners. Polarized sunglasses outside is a no beuno (was mentioned in a previous review) and their not lying. Day one my phone is in a case that does not interfere with the screen protector.
I think for the $60 price tag there’s other screen protectors that will out last this one for cheaper. I’m not rough on my phones or abuse them, I feel this is a cheap product asking premium prices.

I had the old ZAGG glass screen protector with vision shield on my S20. It held up great. I’ve had this on less than a month and there are already scratches on it. I haven’t even dropped it, yet. Whatever polymer it is made of, it isn’t nearly as good as the glass ones.

It still has the same vision protection as the old one and it works just as well (I have photophobia from a concussion so my eyes are particular). I will be looking for an alternative.
