I had a hardware issue within the first year of having this laptop where it had problems turning on. I was afraid to turn it off, as it could take up to 15 minutes to get it to boot up. This was happening right in the middle of the semester of online school. It was handled nicely by ASUS though, so no complaints with how it was handled since it was within warranty.
I wish I would have bought a different laptop though. The “ergolift” hinge feature of this laptop isn’t that ergo in my opinion. Its uncomfortable to just have the laptop on your lap with the ergo feature. I think my computer has been getting a little buggy since it was fixed, where I either can’t scroll without it going back to the top or it wont respond to my scrolls/clicks/typings. It gets frustrating to work with and usually requires it to be forced power off if it isnt responding.
If you could swing buying a better computer, do so.

I really like everything about this. Good battery life, nice keyboard, lightweight. The only thing that I could complain about is that the top of it is a fingerprint magnet. Highly recommended.

After a few months of gentle use, several keys quit working. I opened it and tried to tighten the keyboard connection cable, but it didn’t fix the problem. For the amount of money I paid, I expected this laptop to work great for a long time. I’ll never buy another one. I deeply regret this purchase.

I was too. I do a ton of shopping on Amazon, and sometimes stuff shows up damaged. So I was nervous to spend this amount of money on a product I expect to last for 5+ years. I read reviews about cracked screens and computers that were dead on arrival. But, I figured there are way more people who post reviews when something goes wrong than people who post reviews when it goes off without issue, so I rolled the dice.
This computer showed up in perfect working condition, not even a wrinkle on the box. Nothing spectacular as this is what I was expecting, but wanted to calm the nerves of a nervous consumer like me.
As for the laptop: wife is side hustling as an accounting contractor. She had an ASUS for 10 years before it finally died a couple weeks ago, which earned her loyalty… and mine. She’s running some simple accounting software and has 10 or so spreadsheets open at once. Even though it’s an i3 processor, it’s 8th Gen so this thing hums. No lag at all for what she’s using it for.
We are PUMPED with the performance of the computer and that it arrived in perfect condition.

My computer crashed and I tried out an HP, Dell, then settled on this computer. I love it so far. It is lightweight and very good quality. It was easy to set up. I love the lighted keyboard because I take it home and work from my recliner some nights.

Es una laptop con muy buenas prestaciones. La pantalla tiene excelente resolución, el teclado es cómodo y bonito. Espacio de disco duro muy bueno, ram adecuada para la capacidad de disco duro. Puedo ver películas y series en streaming con excelente definición, jugar juegos (no creo que para gamers sea la opción) básicos, tener muchas ventanas y pestañas abiertas, sin ningún problema. El sonido es bueno. La conexión HDMI a mí me importaba mucho para poder conectarla a mi pantalla de TV. 3 puertos usb de velocidad normal. No he usado el slot para tarjeta. En todo este tiempo, no he tenido ningún problema en torno al software o que se alente por el uso.
Es silenciosa en general… MUY silenciosa. Estéticamente es la más bonita que he tenido.
Peeero, tiene dos defectos: 1. Supongo que es un problema de fabricación y tal vez es sólo mi ejemplar. Pero de repente uno de los ventiladores se vuelve loco y suena terrible. Como decía arriba, en general es MUY silenciosa, por lo que creo que es eso, un defecto específico de esta máquina. No quise hacer cambio ni devolución porque no podía quedarme más tiempo sin una máquina para trabajar. Así que vivo con ese ruido ocasional.
2. Después de un año de uso, la batería está cada vez peor y ya casi no puedo dejarla desconectada si, por ejemplo, juego Candy Crush (así de tonto). Si no necesitas usarla sin cable por mucho tiempo, tal esto no sea un problema para ti.

I was super skeptical about buying a laptop online. I went ahead and bought it. i’ve had this laptop now for about 2 months and i love it so much. It’s fast, works well and the color is amazing. A bit pricey for not having a touchscreen, but i bypassed it. I would recommend!!!

Good laptop for the price range. Slim and pretty. Battery life is decent. Lifted keyboard is comfortable to work on. Only thing I have noticed is that the sound isn’t very loud. Otherwise I’m happy.

I love it. But amazon just got on a bad side with me. Laptop runs great but it did get stuck on the restart screen once. Easy fix. Amazon how ever charged my card twice and delivered it at 930 at night. Never had that problem before.
