Computer was DOA, it required to reinstall windows. I did everything i was required to do, charged it, connected to A/C power. I’ll buy another Asus comp. From Amazon as soon as this issue is resolved

Bought this laptop when it was on sale for about 500 dollars and even then it’s not worth 10 months worth of use, this pc can’t run most games, is not ideal for editing videos, or making music, and overall is just good enough to run games on the lowest settings if you can even run them. Don’t buy this laptop if you are looking to play games, if you want an office laptop, I suggest buying a cheaper one which will offer more use than this one ever will

Where do I begin? First of all, everything about this laptop is absolutely pathetic. The video I included is of the loudest sound on the laptop. You cannot hear anything at all. As far as the battery life, you are lucky that with a FULL charge you get less than an hour.😡 Don’t bother to contact the company because they don’t give a crap about your issues with their product. I sent it in to be “repaired” but they just sent it back to me saying that there is nothing wrong with their amazing product therefore, there was nothing to fix. I sent it in before my warranty expired but they returned it to me, NOT FIXED, and now the warranty is expired. They do not have a customer service number to call to speak to anyone. The recording says that, because of COVID-19, they are not taking calls. Since when does COVID keep a company from providing customer service to their valued customers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PITIFUL COMPANY. The $500. laptop that I bought for my daughter for college is nothing more than a brick. Cannot be used for anything. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I will make it known, high and low, all over the internet how this company treats people. ASUS IS ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!’

I took a chance as reading the reviews people have received damaged products in shipping or not the right model. I am one of the lucky ones that got everything that was listed on the box and this is a pretty responsive laptop so far. The track pad is though to get used to but I plan on buying an external mouse anyway. To anyone interested in buying this I would double check everything at checkout this particular model has different variants. Some dont have any ssd and some have integrated graphics cards others do not.

Great computer!!! Got a screamin deal being a 7th gen processor instead of 8th gen. Which is still plenty to run everything I run and play on the computer! And all the other specs are double if not triple what is needed to run most of what I throw at it! Absolutely worth the cost!!! And if your lucky it may even run Crysis! Enjoy!!!

I purchased this laptop in the fall 2019. I am extremely pleased with the quality and performance.
I’ve purchased ASUS motherboards for years while building PCs and have always been happy with ASUS products.
The SSD drive results in lightning quick boot times and the 1TB extra drive is more than sufficient for storing all your music and movies.
I’ve had ZERO problems with this laptop and highly recommend it. Great value for the cost !
I just purchased another ASUS laptop for my 88 year old mother and am anxiously waiting it’s arrival today!

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced AutoCAD computer, this is the one I’d suggest. I haven’t tried any 3d drawings yet, but I’m sure it should handle them with ease. I recently worked on a job and had 3 dwg files open and 2 multi-page pdf files open simultaneously and there was still ZERO lag.

24 hours after getting this laptop I am quite pleased. I am not sure if the other negative reviews were purchasing refurbished or new laptops. But I ordered new and received what appeared to be a factory sealed box with no issues. I have not encountered any of their “issues”.
I typically buy Dell laptops but this one is quite faster than my laptop it is replacing. It is replacing one with 8GB of Ram and the IDEs I use on a daily basis for programming are running MUCH nicer (possibly too nicely) – I can’t count the times I’ve gone to delete something and am just not accustomed the the speed that the IDEs are running at now with this 16 GB Ram ASUS.
I do wish I had payed closer attention to the keyboard layout as I like to having the extra numeric keypad on the side which this laptop does not have. I probably would have picked a slightly different laptop at time of purchase but I can not complain too much as that was my fault.
The only gripe I have about the laptop in general is the SD card slot. The SD card slot in this laptop is beyond awful. Every laptop I’ve ever owned prior to this one allowed the SD card to FULLY be placed in the slot and and have a spring eject when removing. That is not the case here, the slot only allows for the card to be placed 50% in in the slot and the other 50% just hangs out the side of the laptop. I know it’s just a matter of time until something happens – I drop the laptop, it gets knocked off a table, or forget to remove it when placing in travel bag and takes a bad bump, etc – and the SD card or slot gets damaged.
-1 star for the SD card slot
